Zong Yichen was the emperor of Qing Dynasty.
Aixinjueluo. Manchu. The fourth son of minning, Xuanzong. Daoguang 30 years (1850) ascended the throne, the year of Xianfeng. At that time, politics was decadent, and domestic and foreign troubles were common. In 1853, the capital of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom was Nanjing, and the northern expedition was launched. The Qing government gathered the main forces of the eight banners, the green camp troops and the Xiang army to fight against the Taiping army, and compromised and surrendered to the outside world. The second Opium War broke out in 1856. After the British and French allied forces occupied Dagu fort in 1858, Emperor Xianfeng sent GUI Liang and Hua Shana to sign the Treaty of Tianjin with Britain, France, Russia and the United States. In 1860, the British and French allied forces invaded Beijing, plundered treasures and burned Yuanmingyuan. Emperor Xianfeng fled to Chengde, Rehe, and ordered his younger brother Yiluo to stay in Beijing for peace. He signed the Beijing treaty with Britain and France respectively. In the second Opium War, China and Russia were forced to sign the "Huihui treaty" and the "Beijing treaty" which lost a large area of territory. He died in Rehe palace in 1861. Buried in the Dingling Mausoleum of Zunhua, the temple is named Wenzong, and the posthumous title is Emperor Xian.
