Fu Xiqi (1872-1946), a native of Tanzi, Taichung, Taiwan, was born on August 10, 1872 (September 12, 1872).
In his early years, he read ancient poems from Xie Daolong with profound attainments. In 1893, he won the 12th place in Taiwan's government school. The following year, due to the Sino Japanese War, he was unable to go to Fuzhou to take the exam. After the Japanese occupation, a school was set up to teach students. He was invited to write the Chinese column of Taiwan Riri Xinbao. Later, he was hired by Taichung's Taiwan Xinkai news agency to write the Chinese version of the newspaper. He also helped Lin Youchun's Yongchang business in Taichung to run kerosene wholesale business.
In 1920 (the ninth year of Taisho), he was appointed by the Japanese authorities as the head of tanzilong District of Taichung Prefecture. Later, he was changed into the head of Chuang. In the fourteenth year, he was removed according to his wish;
In 1929 (the fourth year of Showa), he was re elected for 17 years. In addition, he is also a member of the Academic Affairs Committee of tanzilong public school, a member of Fengyuan water conservancy group, the head of tanzilong credit group, the head of tanzizhuang agricultural group, the head of Fengyuan County Xingnong initiative and huitanzi Zhuangzi minister, and the local committee member. In 1906, he joined the oak society and became one of the nine founders of the society. In 1917, he succeeded Lai Shaoyao as the president of the society. Since then, the scale of the oak society has been large and has been the leader of Taiwan's Sao society.
In his later years, he retired from "Danlu" and entertained himself with poems and books. His poems are simple and elegant. Apart from the first and second chapters of the society, his life has never been completed. After his death, he left over a thousand poems. Lin Yunpeng, his grandson, reorganized the manuscripts, starting in 1907 and ending in the 35th year of the Republic of China. He attached 17 articles and two articles, a brief history of the oak society and a summary of his life, with the general name of heting poetry anthology, which was published in 1967.
