Mei Chengdong (1776-1844), a poet of Qing Dynasty, was named Shujun and yinzhai. Tianjin people. During the reign of Daoguang, he was recognized as the leader of Tianjin poetry circle. Mei Chengdong, Cui Xu and Yao Yuanzhi are all from Zhang Wentao, a famous poet in the Qing Dynasty. They are collectively known as the "three talented men of Zhang family".

Mei Chengdong (1776-1844), a poet of Qing Dynasty, was named Shujun and yinzhai. Tianjin people. During the reign of Daoguang, Furen college was established, with a chair for more than 10 years. He once formed a "plum blossom poetry club" with famous scholars in shuixizhuang, Tianjin, and many poems were recited in the scholars. He was recognized as the leader of Tianjin poetry circle at that time. He is the author of zhujianlou manuscript, Sishu handout, guanjian chapter, yinzhaibicun and Jinmen Shichao. In 1800, Mei Chengdong, Cui Xu and Yao Yuanzhi joined Zhang Chuanshan, a famous poet and calligrapher and painter. He was known as the "three talents of Zhang men". Hu Chuanhuai's analysis of the three talents of Zhang men (Journal of Sichuan Vocational and technical college, No. 04, 2009), which is very detailed and helpful to the study of Mei Chengdong.
