It is also said that when Ke Qian was young, he traveled at night. It was common for villagers to see two people holding red lights in front of him to guide him. The words "Number One Scholar" loomed on the lantern. The villagers were surprised to see that. They urged his parents to invite a famous teacher to teach him, and he would be able to stand out in the future.
Ke Qianqiao's antithetical couplet
Ke Qian's parents hoped that his son would become a dragon, and sent him to study at the stone ladder bookstore in Pingyang mountain, north of Donghai Town, Chengxiang District. However, Ke Qian was slow in nature when he was young, and he could not learn for a long time. When he saw that he was "too young to teach", he had to leave the school. Ke Qian was very affectionate to his teacher and sent him down the mountain. The teacher could not bear it, so he said to Ke Qian, "I'll make a match. If you can make a match, I'll teach you again. If you can't, you don't have to send me. I'll go down the mountain myself.".
At that time, the teacher raised his eyes and saw a young village woman carrying a load of Olives coming up the mountain. With an idea, he wrote the question: "who dares to stop a woman walking alone?" Without thinking, Ke Qian replied, "if you want to go, I will stay." Sir, I am very glad to hear that. "Ganlan" and "olive", "Shiliu" and "pomegranate" are homophonic, meaning pun. It's really different. Maybe he met Hugong Mountain God, and the "smart flower" bloomed. The teacher said to Ke Qian, "I'll teach you to read books again, but you must abide by it. Within three years, you can't go out of the bookshop and study the book carefully.". Ke Qian worked hard in the bookshop, but he didn't get out of the bookshop in three years. This year, Ke Qian sent his teacher home for the Spring Festival. He walked all the way along the stream. The teacher's poetry was flourishing. He produced a pair of poems for Ke Qian to say: "when you cross Tingxi at night, you can step on the stars all over the sky.". Ke Qian said to each other, "in the Spring Festival, you can hang the ancient pictures and help thousands of miles of rivers and mountains.". The teacher was even more happy. Ke Qian was already familiar with the four books and five classics.
Ke Qian and Jiuli Lake

Lingfeng a roar, high on the stage, the sound from the cold pool "Wolong". They dream that the fairy man wrote a word in the palm of his left hand and told them to go straight down the mountain tomorrow to find the farmer who is hoeing.
The next morning, they went down the mountain to find a farmer to fulfill their dream. They came to Juxi village in Putian and found a farmer hoeing. Wang Kui came to the old farmer to explain his intention. The farmer was embarrassed and said, "I don't know many words. How can I fulfill my dream for you and other scholars?" After their repeated entreaties, he agreed. Wang Sheng stretched out his hand. The farmer looked at it, stroked his beard, pondered for a moment, and said, "with all due respect, I don't think you have any hope of success in this subject.". Wang Kui suddenly turned pale and quickly explained: "this is a word" you ". How can it be interpreted as hopelessness?" The farmer replied, "in terms of the shape of this word, it's not like a loser who comes back with a bag and an umbrella on his back." Then Ke Qian came forward and stretched out his left hand and said, "please look at the word in my hand. Is there any hope of winning the title?" The farmer looked at it and said, "good! That's a good word. I'm sure I'll be a high school student in this field! "
At that time, Wang Kui was very unconvinced and interrupted: "it's a word" dance "(no), which means nothing. How can you judge that he will be in high school?" The farmer looked at Wang Sheng and said, "look, the shape of this word is like four people carrying an official sedan chair, and there is a banner of joy hanging in front of them. Isn't it that they want to go to Gaodi and return to their hometown?" After listening to this, Ke Qian quickly bowed to the old man and said, "thank you for your good prophecy. If you can make a success of this subject, you must come to the door to thank him with a big gift."
