Lin Duan
Lin Duan, male, was born in May 1930 in Fuzhou, Fujian Province. Professor. After graduating from Beijing Normal University in 1954, he studied as a four-year associate doctor of linguistics in Fudan University. After graduation, he taught in the Chinese Department of Lanzhou University and Xinjiang University.
Papers and works
He is good at the research of phonology and dialect. In the past 42 years, he has taught more than 10 courses in linguistics, phonology, dialectology and grammar, and cultivated a large number of Bachelor of Arts and three masters of modern Chinese dialectology. His monographs include phonology and sentence analysis. More than 60 professional papers have been published. He participated in and presided over the research work of the sub project division of Chinese dialects in Xinjiang, which is one of the key projects of the sixth five year plan of national social sciences. This project fills the blank of the national survey of Chinese dialects. He was employed to participate in the national social science "Seventh Five Year Plan" key project "vocabulary survey of northern dialect", and share the work of phonology and vocabulary research and compilation of Hami dialect. He is the main editor and one of the previous revisers of the Textbook Modern Chinese Edited by Huang Bo Rong and Liao Xu Dong. The textbook has won the "second prize of college textbook" awarded by the State Education Commission. After retiring in 1992, he still applied for teaching, edited, reviewed and proofread manuscripts for the publishing house, was enthusiastic about the organization and training of international standard social dance, and continued to contribute tirelessly to the cause of social culture and education.
