Yang Dongchao, named mengcang, Bai nationality, was born in Jiuzhai lane of Jianchuan County. He was a Jinshi of Guichou (1613) in Wanli of Ming Dynasty, and became an official in the Ministry of rites. During the reign of Tianqi (about 1621-1627), Wei Zhongxian colluded with the Hakka "Fengsheng lady", the lactating mother of emperor Xizong of Ming Dynasty, and was good at cultivating the party.
In the fourth year of Tianqi (1624), Yang Lian, the censor of zuodu, went up to shuxizong emperor, counting the 24 major crimes of Wei Zhongxian, asking him to rule the country and eliminate hidden dangers. Unexpectedly, Xizong blindly listened to the slander of Hakka, and took Wei Zhongxian as the "honest" person. He not only did not punish the crime, but also put it in an important position. Wei Zhongxian "once he had power in his hands, he would order him to do it". In 1625, he set up a prison to kill Yang Lian and other Donglin Party members. After that, those who offended Wei Zhongxian were at least demoted and demoted, and even their lives were in danger. People inside and outside the court were in a panic. Only the villain gets the ambition and celebrates each other. He plays the flattering words with Wei Zhongxian. In the sixth year of Tianqi (1626), governor pan chizhen, the capital of Zhejiang Province, suggested that Wei Zhongxian establish a ancestral hall. Soon after, supervisor Lu Wanling asked to build Wei Zhongxian's ancestral hall next to the Imperial Academy, and offered sacrifices to Confucius at the same time every year. Wei Zhongxian was shameless and acted in a dignified manner. From then on, the custom of building ancestral temples was repeated several times, and the people were in dire straits. At this time, Yang Dongchao expressed his own opinions and risked his life to speak up. He played the first reference to Wei Xun Shu to admonish emperor Xizong. Yang Dongchao explained to Xizong with facts: "after the Yang Lian incident, Wei Zhongxian was responsible for the court's" those who are more loyal and honest than others "and" those who are more honest and upright are less willing to do things. ". Yang Dongchao played: Wei Zhongxian is just "a punishment for more than a villain", "to serve the small section, the effect of micro labor." Wei Zhongxian, such as "slightly aware of Jin Wei, invited a trickle of rain and dew, stealing dogs and horses for many years", is already Wei's "unique adventure". Wei Zhongxian should have been content with his life. However, Wei Zhongxian was "illiterate, with a sword in his belly, married a Hakka family to keep his favor while he was on leave, and laid his paws and teeth to show his flame". As a result, both inside and outside the imperial court, the castration party suffered, forming a group of evil people who only wanted to win Wei Zhongxian's favor, but did not know that there was a sovereign world and patriarchal legal system. He cited the facts and revealed that Wei Zhongxian "embezzled money by means of edicts and falsely made money for public money". He went to Liudu (Nanjing) to "extort five hundred thousand and six hundred thousand dollars of silver, betray the treacherous Party of fate, fight like an iceberg, and spend tens of thousands of dollars in private pockets". Wei Zhongxian was severely accused of using conspiracy to deceive Xizong. He got the emperor's "straightforward" tiger skin as the banner, suppressed Zhongliang and did whatever he wanted. Yang Dongchao admonished: Wei Zhongxian's desire is endless. He will ask for money when he has power. His real purpose is to seize the throne. In the hope of emperor Xizong, Dong Dynasty must "examine Wei Zhongxian's various crimes one by one, stab the Justice Department, and be strict in asking questions.". He also said: "if the reason is not true, then all ministers should obey the crime of false words." Show your loyalty and determination. However, Xizong was unable to control the government. As soon as Yang Dongchao's memorial arrived in Beijing, it was intercepted by Wei Zhongxian. Wei Zhongxian hated and was afraid. He wanted to put Dong Dynasty to death. After that, he tried his best to avoid death. Dong dynasty laid off his post for the people and returned to his hometown. In this regard, Yang Dongchao had already thought about it. On the day he returned to Jianchuan, he wore straw sandals, held a goat in hand, and hung a bunch of fennel on the goat's horn. He was proud from the east gate, implying that "Lao Yang returned to his hometown.". After returning to his hometown, Dong Chao devoted himself to learning and solving problems for the villagers, and was deeply respected by the villagers. An honest official, in the face of poor life, but happy, without a complaint. After Zhu Youjian ascended the throne, Wei Zhongxian was demoted to Fengyang and committed suicide. Yizong reactivated Yang Dongchao, promoted to Guanglu Temple minister, made up for the official affairs, took charge of Taiji, inspected the nine Treasuries, and managed the yellow books of the world. After years of service, he was loyal to his job, honest and white, until he died of illness. After Dong Dynasty passed away, the villagers set up a stone tablet outside the South Gate of the county, engraved: "the hometown of Meng Canggong, a loyal minister of the Ming Dynasty, a civil and military official came here, all under the sedan chair." To show respect and love for Yang Dongchao. The biography of Yang Dongchao, a biography of Kangxi's records in southern Yunnan, praises the Dongchao and says, "I am loyal to my motherland, and I am willing to cut my books and return to my hometown. Who said it's not suitable to go down with Yang (Lian) and Zuo (Guangdou) through the ages.
