Yang Shu (1283-1331), born in Zhejiang Province, was a navigator and foreign trader in Yuan Dynasty.
Life of the characters
In the fifth year of Dade (1301), he led the yuan Guan's ship to float to the Western Ocean (today's Indian Ocean) for trade. When he met the prince and sent his envoy nahuai to China to pay tribute, he accompanied him to the capital. After paying tribute, he escorted his party back to China. He was awarded Zhongxian Xiaowei and Haidian Deputy Qianhu. It's about three years. In the eighth year of Dade (1304), he floated to the Persian Gulf to trade with hulimus (hulimuzi). Ships and grain were provided by himself, and the journey lasted about six years. In 1327, he was the captain of Zhaoxin school, and served as the Deputy shipping officer of Changshu and Jiangyin.
Character evaluation
