Yang Wenqing (1506-1558), a native of Yangniu village, Yanshan Town, was named Ouhai. I like literature in my childhood. I am familiar with the classics, history, art and literature before Ming Dynasty. At the age of 15, he was a scholar in the ninth year of Jiajing reign of emperor Shizong of Ming Dynasty (1530). At the call of the fashion Confucians in the county magistrate of Yanshan, he worked with Song Yu and Zhao run to compile the first annals of Yanshan County. In the tenth year of Jiajing period (1531), he was awarded the order of Jishan in Shanxi Province at the beginning. He often discussed poetry with other students. The outstanding ones were classified as different, and the inferior ones were given instruction and guidance. Therefore, Jishan was famous for his achievements. In the 28th year of Jiajing (1549), Yang Wenqing was employed as a scholar of the rural examination. The doubts in the examination papers were all determined by him. Later, he was promoted to the Imperial College of Nanjing.

Yang Wenqing likes to visit scenic spots, and he must write poems on the spot. It was once said that "the whole career is not enough to be handed down to the world. I want to make a speech to be immortal.". Especially when I was in Nanjing, I wrote the most poems. I said, "I am not happy to be an official, I am happy to be in Nandu, and I am a poet." Every famous mountain resort, all indulge in travel, poetry chanting. At that time, Zhu Shepo was the most famous poet in Nanjing, while Yang Shikan was the most famous poet in the Ming Dynasty. In the Ming Dynasty, there were more people from the South than from the north, and less from Hejian (the Yellow River Valley). The Ming poems selected by Qian Qianyi and Zhu YIZUN do not omit Yang Wenqing's poems. Yang's poems are high in quality and straight in style, but all of them have backbone and no low in voice.

Nearly half a century old, Yang Wenqing died of homesickness at the beginning of August in the 37th year of Jiajing (1558). He was 52 years old and had no children. Liang Chengzhai of Jishan had benefited from Yang Wenqing. Later, he served in Tianjin as a Jinshi of Zhongzhong. With the help of capital increase, Yang's coffin was buried in his hometown. Liang Chengzhai also indicated to prefectures and counties to establish a biography of poplar steles. Xu Yanshi, the magistrate of Yanshan County, wrote an article about his tomb in 1583.
