brief introduction
Li Henian, a calligrapher of all styles, is especially good at seal and official script. He likes to use Long Feng yanghao, high grasping tube, flexible pen and exquisite composition. His works are not only ancient and deep, elegant and solemn, but also fresh and meaningful, free and easy to flow away. His works are full of book atmosphere. His works have participated in national calligraphy and seal cutting exhibitions for many times, and have been collected by Zhongnanhai, the Great Hall of the people and other units.
Li Henian, a famous calligrapher, was a son of a rich family. In his early years, he worshipped Wang Xiang as his teacher. It is said that the inkpad used by Li Henian in those years was purchased with one or two gold. Wu Yuru, his teacher, often borrowed inkpad to write for others. During the cultural revolution, Li Henian was sent to Xiaozhan coal store, and his life was poor. In the 1980s, I went to normal university to teach calligraphy and received a lecture fee of 5 yuan per class. In those days, when the calligrapher was too shy to write and collect money, his family had Runge details pasted on the wall, and many people in the circle disagreed. However, Mr. Li once sent me a very beautiful seal script, but he didn't receive a cent. By Li Jiaming
