Li Hongyi

Li Hongyi (1831-1885), a native of Zhongjiang, Sichuan Province, was born in Meisheng, Xiangyan and Sulin. Xianfeng first year (1851) Ju Ren, the official to Jiangsu, according to the Chashi plus buzhengshi title, the head of the military department. After his dismissal, he came to Suzhou. Fine calligraphy and inscriptions in the Wei and Jin Dynasties are all vivid. He was a good Buddhist in his later years and died at 55. Li Hongyi, together with Li Rong in Jiange and Li Shifen in Zhongxian, are called "Three Li in Shu".

He is friendly with Pan Zuyin and Mo Youzhi in Wuxian county. The book collection is printed with "Li family of Qijiang", "Su linjian collection" and so on.
