Li duo < I > (April 19, 1930 - September 17, 2020) < / I >, born in Liling City, Hunan Province, graduated from Xinyang Infantry School, a famous Chinese calligrapher and soldier.
He has successively served as a researcher of the Chinese people's Revolutionary Military Museum, a member of the Ninth CPPCC National Committee, a member of the sixth all China Federation of literary and art circles, a vice chairman of the third Chinese Calligrapher Association, and a director of the China International Friendship liaison Association, and enjoys special subsidies from the State Council. Li duo believed that learning calligraphy should advocate tradition, and he kept on practicing calligraphy all his life. Born in April 1930 in a poor peasant family in Liling, Hunan Province, he graduated from Xinyang Infantry School and worked and lived in the Chinese people's Revolutionary Military Museum for nearly 60 years.
Li Duo is an honorary member of the China Federation of literary and art circles, a research librarian of the Chinese people's Revolutionary Military Museum, a doctoral supervisor of the Chinese Academy of Arts, and the president of the Calligraphy Academy of the PLA. On April 25, 2010, some party and state leaders made a special trip to the military museum to visit the "calligraphy and painting exhibition of Li duo's teachers and students in Shilong bookstore", which is being held here, and highly praised Li duo's calligraphy creation and educational achievements.
On August 16, 2011, "I love my motherland - Li duo's poetry and calligraphy exhibition" was held in Beijing Chinese people's Revolutionary Military Museum. On June 28, 2015, the collection ceremony of large-scale package Book Lido was held in the National Library of classics (National Museum of Classics).
At the 2017 CCTV Spring Festival Gala, five famous contemporary calligraphers' works with the word "Fu" were displayed, including one by Li duo, a calligrapher.
On April 15, 2019, the Military Museum held the "calligraphy is old, never forget the original heart - the first ceremony of complete works of Li duo and selected paintings donated by Li duo to the military museum".
