Li ne, the daughter of Mao Zedong and Jiang Qing, was born in Yan'an, Shaanxi Province in 1940. He graduated from Peking University and worked in Beijing Municipal Party committee before retiring. He was once a member of the National Committee of the Chinese people's Political Consultative Conference.
