Li Guoqing, the former vice chairman of Kaifeng Art Association, was born in Kaifeng, Henan Province in 1941. He is a famous Chinese figure painter. He has been engaged in stage art design, art guidance of Mass Art Museum, vice president of Kaifeng calligraphy and painting academy, art of Kaifeng calligraphy newspaper, member of China Artists Association, deputy director of Henan Artists Association Chinese figure painting art committee, vice chairman of Kaifeng Artists Association, honorary consultant of Taihua Art Association (Thailand).

Li Baoyi, formerly known as Li Guoqing. His ancestral home is Suning, Baoding, Hebei Province. He was born in Kaifeng, Henan Province in 1941 and now lives in Beijing.
At present, he is a member of China Artists Association, director of China International Cultural Exchange Center, executive director of old artists painting and Calligraphy Society of Chinese Ministry of culture, and director of China cultural exchange and Cooperation Promotion Association.
He once served as an artist of Kaifeng Mass Art Museum, vice president of Kaifeng calligraphy and painting academy, art director of calligraphy guide, Professor of Easton International Academy of fine arts, deputy director of Figure Painting Art Committee of Henan Artists Association, vice chairman of Kaifeng Artists Association, etc.
In 1956, oil painting participated in the world children's painting exhibition and won prizes. In 1962, it held a personal oil painting exhibition in Kaifeng. In 1974, it turned to Chinese painting. He has participated in national art exhibitions for many times and held individual art exhibitions in Kaifeng, Zhengzhou, Luoyang, Jincheng, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Japan.
He has won the outstanding works award of the sixth national art exhibition, the silver award of the first World Chinese painting and calligraphy exhibition, the bronze award of 300 Chinese paintings, the silver award of Zhongheng Cup National Painting and calligraphy exhibition, the major contribution award of China South Korea International Painting and calligraphy exchange exhibition, and the Kaifeng literature and art creation Fund Award for six consecutive times.
He has published many works and papers in fine arts, Chinese painting, Chinese painter, people's daily, Guangming Daily, China culture daily, Hong Kong Wen Wei Po, Taiwan artist and overseas newspapers.
He has published the Malaysian and Thai editions of Li Baoyi's collection of paintings, the volume of ancient figures, the volume of western region customs, the volume of fans and sketches of Li Baoyi's art of traditional Chinese painting, etc.

1962: "Li Guoqing's oil paintings exhibition" was held in the octagonal Hall of daxiangguo temple in Kaifeng. 1972: he created a large oil painting Chairman Mao and yellow river boatman. In the same year, he turned to the creation and research of Chinese figure painting. 1974: Chinese figure paintings such as "martial arts training", "Jiao Yulu" and "the story of Lei Feng" were also exhibited in "Henan Province Chinese Painting Exhibition". 1977: a fragrant red plum participated in the national art exhibition. 1979: a thousand miles of grassland participated in the exhibition of modern Chinese women in Japan. Fan Li and Xi Shi is included in CCTV collection of paintings.
