Li Jiaji
Yunsheng (1843-1907), a native of Chengdu, Sichuan Province, was born in Tongzhou, Zhili (now Tongxian, Beijing). His father was an official in Sichuan, so he lived with his father in Huayang (now Chengdu). On August 19, Empress Dowager Cixi and Emperor Guangxu fled to the West in a panic because of the invasion of Beijing by the Eight Power Allied forces. On the way, they stayed in Huazhou. Li Jiaji was in charge of the reception and was received by the two palaces. Afterwards, he wrote the story of yingluan in detail. At that time, the situation was chaotic, he actively supervised the militia, and finally put down the rebellion of Tian Guibin.
