"Fushengquan" Shaofang was rebuilt in the old site of shuijingjie distillery near Dafosi temple outside the east gate of Chengdu in the late Yuan and early Ming Dynasty. Shaofang was named after the homonym of "whole body Buddha" in Dafosi temple, which was inverted above the legendary "sea eye".
