Jinyin island is one of the shooting sites of CCTV's "treasure hunt on Nan'ao Island". It covers an area of about 1000 square meters, surrounded by the sea on three sides and rippling with blue waves. The island is made of natural granite and boulders. The winding paths lead to seclusion and the caves are interspersed with each other. It is extremely cool. In front of the umbrella Pavilion sits a stone statue of a beautiful lady. The figure is Wu Ping's sister. She stroked Yuanbao with one hand, followed by the hilt with the other. It was said that touching the Yuanbao in her hand would bring a lot of wealth. On the stone wall beside her are inscriptions such as the chronicle of treasure island. The surrounding rocks are carved with various wonderful poems and fine ink by famous artists.

In the middle of the 18th century, Bill burns, a former pirate captain, avoided people's attention and went to a small Inn by the sea. He asked the owner's son, Jim Hawkins Jr., to watch out for a "one legged sailor.". But the "one legged sailor" never showed up, but a man named "black dog" came to the door. After Jim's father died of serious illness, a blind man named Pew came to bill and submitted a death notice "black spot" of the pirate Gang's decision to carry out the death penalty. At the sight of this "black spot", Bill died of terror.
Jim and his mother opened the big box bill was carrying, trying to find something that could compensate Bill's accommodation expenses these days. But because the blind man led a group of pirates to attack the hotel, they didn't find anything in a hurry. They just found a small bag wrapped in oilcloth at the bottom of the box. Mother and son fled to the house, but fortunately they were not caught by the pirates.
It turned out that the oil cloth bag contained a map of the island where the pirate leader flint buried a large number of stolen goods and treasures. Bill got the map and wanted to run away with it and swallow the wealth. Unexpectedly, they were found and followed by pirates. But the oilcloth bag had been acquired by Jim, and the pirates had no idea.
Trelawney, a local squire, learned of the incident and bought a yacht named the Espanola in Bristol to set out for treasure island. There were doctor Livesey and captain Smollett on board, and Jim became a handyman. Everything was in order, but John Silver, the cook on board, was a lame man with one foot. One night, Jim heard in the apple barrel that silver and some people were secretly plotting to rebel when the treasure was found. It turned out that silver was the frightening one legged sailor. He was an important leader under flint. There are already 19 crew members who are pirates of silver's group. Jim, doctor Livesey, there are only seven of them. After consulting with the captain, the doctor decided to strike first. By this time, the sailboat had anchored on the sea near treasure island. The captain announced that most of the crew could go ashore to rest. At the same time, he took the opportunity to transport part of the grain and ammunition to a flint stockade built by pirates. They gave up their sailboats and planned to defend themselves against pirates by virtue of the favorable terrain on the shore. But the naughty Jim didn't act with his friends, but went ashore in a small boat with the pirates. After he left his friends, he was afraid again, so he immediately avoided the robbers and ran into the jungle. Alone in the jungle, Jim ran into Ben Gunn, a sailor who had become a savage. Gunn also worked as a pirate under flint. Later, when he was serving on a ship, he was abandoned to this deserted island by his companions. It has been three years so far. He told Jim that he had mastered the secret of the treasure, and begged Jim to help him return to human society.
After Jim left Gunn, he found his companions who retreated to the stockade. They worked together and fought bravely to beat back the attack of the pirates, killing and injuring some of them. That night, Jim, who is eager for success, has an idea. He sneaks out of the stockade and drives Gann's homemade raft to the sea. The ebbing water pushed his raft towards the sailboat. The outlaws on the shore were feasting and drinking, and the two pirates guarding the sailboat were also fighting each other after getting drunk, one died and the other was injured. Jim first cut the anchor rope, then climbed on the unmanned sailboat, and managed to drive it to the other end of the island, where it was moored.
But Jim never expected that things would change when he was not in the stockade. It turned out that Gunn told doctor Livesey that he had dug up the buried treasure and transported it to the cave where he lived. So the doctor decided to give up the stockade and move to Gunn's cave. At this time, the map had become useless waste, so they gave it to the pirates.
After they left, the pirates immediately occupied the stockade.
Jim wandered all day. The next night, he came back to the stockade and fell into the enemy's nest. The robbers were dead and sick. There were only six left. They were suspicious and quarreled with each other. Silver, a crafty man, saw that the situation was not good. In order to leave a way for himself, he came out to protect Jim from other pirates. Silver's group of thieves are very angry for this. They show silver the "black spot". Silver takes out the map of the treasure from his arms and calms down their anger.
After daybreak, the pirates took a map to look for the treasure, but only found a hole, and the treasure had disappeared. They were stunned and went wild like wild animals. At this time, silver did not hesitate to abandon the past accomplice, and Jim together to the ambush in the vicinity of the doctor and others there. After a fierce battle, the mob of pirates was defeated.
Jim, they loaded the treasure on the ship. When the tide was high, they sailed back. On the way home, silver stole a bag of gold coins and disappeared in the West Indies. Jim and his friends, together with Gunn, finally returned home with a full load on the Espanola.
Creative background
Treasure Island is based on the real historical background. The desert island in the book, Cocos Island, is located in the Pacific Ocean 483 kilometers away from the coast of Costa Rica. It used to be a resting place for pirates in the 17th century. Pirates often load, unload and bury plundered treasure here, thus adding a lot of mystery to this island, which is not full of flowers and birds, but has pleasant scenery. It is said that there are at least six treasures buried on the island.
In 1820, Lima was still a Spanish colony. When the revolutionary army led by Bolivar, the Peruvian national hero known as the "liberator", was about to attack Lima, the Spanish governor of Lima fled in a hurry. At the same time, he boarded a sailboat named "Mary Deere" with the treasures he had searched for for many years, including gold candlesticks, gold plates and life size gold statues of the Virgin Mary Run away on the road. Unexpectedly, when he got to the sea, the captain killed the Spanish governor. For the sake of safety, the captain hid the treasure in a mysterious cave on Coco Island. In the later days, however, he did not find a proper opportunity to return to Coco Island to take the treasure. Until 1844, the captain died, leaving only a treasure map which was difficult to distinguish the true from the false. Stevenson wrote treasure island against this background.
Personage introduction
JimHawkin s
Jim is brave, witty and adventurous. However, the formation of his character is not only from the experience of life, but also from the learning of examples. By Jim's side were the calm doctor Livesey, the honest and noble squire Trelawney, the careful and astute captain Smollett, and the sinister but shrewd pirate silver. In the course of constant adventure, Jim absorbed some of the qualities of the adults around him. Later, his calm and sophisticated personality was no less than that of his adult partners. He even absorbed silver's characteristics of good analysis and careful thinking. So he dared to sneak into the pirate's boat; when he felt that his friends on the boat ignored him, he impulsively went ashore with the pirates; and when he confronted the pirates on the shore, he left them again and went through all the hardships to recapture the ship. Through tribulation and adventure, at the end of the story, Jim's maturity is quite different from his ignorance at the beginning. The creation of Jim's image lies in the author's call for the ideal of heroism, not necessarily the Achilles type hero in ancient mythology, but the heroism spirit that can bravely explore the unknown world in ordinary times and overcome cowardice and courage under the threat of great danger. This spirit is particularly valuable in the late 19th century, when the heroes gradually retired.
