brief introduction
Fengshan park is a class a scenic spot named by Yunnan Provincial Tourism Administration. Its main scenic spots include Confucian temple, martyr cemetery and Fengshan park.
Confucious'Temple
The ancient Confucian temple is a miniature of Fengqing's history and culture, and also a witness of the development of Fengqing's culture. Fengqing Confucian temple was first built in 1606 (the 34th year of Wanli in Ming Dynasty), rebuilt in 1669 (the 8th year of Kangxi in Qing Dynasty), and completed in 1893 (the 19th year of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty). Covering an area of 12000 square meters, it is the second largest existing Confucian temple in Yunnan Province. The Confucian temple complex is composed of Mingfeng Pavilion (Kuixing Pavilion), Chongsheng hall, Dacheng hall, Dacheng gate, Lingxing gate, Longmen, panchi and other buildings along a central axis. There are horizontal plaques of "Shengji Dacheng", "Siwen zaizi" and "wanshishishibiao" hanging in the main hall, and a Ming Dynasty "Jiajing bronze bell" hanging outside the hall. The layout of the whole building is rigorous and reasonable, with exquisite skills, and has a high level of architectural art and historical research value. It has been listed as a provincial, prefectural and county-level cultural relics protection unit.
cemetery of martyrs
Martyrs cemetery is located in Fengshan county. It was surveyed in 1950 and approved by the provincial people's Government in 1955. There are 16 tombs of martyrs built in the cemetery. In the middle of the cemetery is a square martyrs memorial tower, 5.5 meters high. On the tower are engraved the names of 46 martyrs who died bravely in the war of collecting grain and suppressing bandits, and inscriptions such as "you live in our memory, we live in your career". On the back is "building martyrs' epitaph". Over the years, the county people's government has repeatedly raised funds to repair the garden, cultivate flowers and trees, and repair the 225 level climbing steps of the stone square. Recently, a memorial hall for the martyrs was built to show the great achievements of the martyrs of that year. Nowadays, the martyrs' cemetery has become a scenic spot in the tea town.
Fengshan Park
Fengshan Park legend has it that a long time ago, a Golden Phoenix flew to Fengqing. When it saw the beautiful scenery here, it flew forward and became a mountain. Later generations named it Fengshan. Fengshan mountain is like a huge Phoenix, spreading its wings to the rising sun in the East. It has dense forests, towering ancient trees, high sky, low clouds and misty smoke. It is the "fengxiu Ningyan" landscape among the ten scenic spots in shunning in the past, and it is also a good place for people to "climb mountains to view the city scenery and enjoy Ningyan in the forest". During his six years in office, he worked hard and loved the people, prospered schools, set up posts and telecommunications, valued agriculture and mulberry, and set up industries. He donated 50 liang of silver to Chen Weiyin, a city gentry, to open Fengshan tea garden and promote tea planting and tea making. Since then, the annual Qingming spring tea Fair has become a business exchange event for tea tasting and selling in Fengqing until the early days of the liberation. In 1990, the people's Government of Fengqing County decided to build Fengshan park. In the past ten years, the gate of the park, climbing stone steps, pavilions, Camellia statue and Golden Phoenix take-off sculpture have been built. The park has begun to take shape and has become a scenic spot.
