Zhouxi Miao Village

The most famous Lusheng hall in Zhouxi Miao village is gannangxiang Lusheng hall, which was built in Ming Dynasty, 500m long and 100m wide, and is the largest Lusheng hall in Southeast Guizhou. Every year from the 18th to the 20th day of the first month of the lunar calendar, Miao people hold Lusheng grand meeting here. The scene is very spectacular, and the number of people can reach 30000 to 40000. Girls and boys from dozens of miles gather here to play and dance Lusheng. Outside the festival, Zhouxi is quiet. You can take a ride to Qingman Miao village and buy some souvenirs.

Zhouxi Miao Village

Zhouxi Miao village is located 20 kilometers south of Kaili City, Guizhou Province. It used to be named after boating. In Miao language, xiangmos means maochangtian. Miao, Mulao and other ethnic groups live together, their Lusheng production, weaving cotton, embroidery, long-standing reputation.

Main attractions

In Zhouxi Miao village, there are gazuida karst cave, Wenchang Pavilion and Miao Huaqiao ruins. In Zhouxi Tun, there is gannangxiang Lusheng hall, which is more than 500 meters long and more than 100 meters wide. The Lusheng grand meeting is held here from the 16th to the 20th of the first lunar month every year. The scene is very spectacular and the scale is getting larger and larger, with 30000 or 40000 people. It is one of the largest Lusheng halls in Southeast Guizhou. In addition, Lusheng and brocade flower straps made here are also very famous, known as "Zhouxi two treasures".

Take a bus to Zhouxi Town, and you can see the "ganaoxiang Lusheng hall" in Tunxi Shangzhai. Built in the Ming Dynasty, this Lusheng hall has a history of hundreds of years. It is the largest Lusheng hall in Southeast Guizhou and one of the largest and most primitive Lusheng halls in Guizhou Province. The Lusheng hall on the beach is not so much man-made as made in heaven. Every year when the Lusheng party is held in the first month of the year, girls and boys from dozens of miles gather here to play and dance Lusheng. If you want to feel the warm atmosphere, you have to pay a visit during the first month of the lunar calendar. Usually, you can only stay here for a while at the empty beach.

During the festival, the women in Zhouxi wear silver clothes and crowns, weighing about 8-10kg. It is said that there are 50 taels of spiral collars for women in the wealthy families in this area.
