Jiuzihai
Jiuzihai is located in jiuzihai village, ancient town district, Lijiang City, about 26 kilometers away from the ancient town of Lijiang. It is named because there are nine naturally formed pools in Bazi. It is said that it is a relic left by the Ming Dynasty chieftain Mu to burn tiles to get soil from jiuzihai.
On May 31, 2018, jiuzihai was listed as an important provincial wetland.
Features of scenic spots
From May to November every year, dozens of primrose flowers compete to open, forming a beautiful sea of flowers, reflecting the light of the lake.
The Yulong Snow Mountain, which never melts all the year round, has a panoramic view. It is surrounded by green hills and trees. Nine natural pools are beautiful like Jasper.

Jiuzihai wetland
The recognized range of jiuzihai wetland is between 100 ° 18 ′ 08.95 ″ - 100 ° 18 ′ 36.74 ″ E and 27 ° 00 ′ 27.42 ″ - 27 ° 01 ′ 11.36 ″ n. The total area is 38.51 hectares. Among them, the permanent freshwater lake is 6.97 hectares, and the herbaceous swamp is 31.54 hectares.
The wetland is a typical subalpine meadow wetland, surrounded by mountains, with good climatic conditions and abundant precipitation. Because there are nine large lakes in the wetland, it is called jiuzihai wetland. There is an inland river running through the wetland, which is the water source of Heilongtan in Lijiang City.
Jiuzihai wetland is one of the important Primula germplasm resources in Yunnan Province. Similar to a vase, it is adjacent to Yulong Snow Mountain. A natural picture is drawn in the forest on the east side of Yulong Snow Mountain. There are more than 30 "tiankengs", like pearls falling from the starry sky. The construction site of ghost axe God is inlaid in the wetland. It is said that these "tiankengs" are the sites where the Ming Dynasty chieftain Mu took earth to burn tiles.
During the rainy season, many "pearls" are inlaid in the green plateau meadow, which has attracted many tourists.
Honors
On May 31, 2018, the general office of Yunnan Provincial People's government officially released the list of the third batch of important provincial wetlands in Yunnan Province. A total of 16 wetlands were listed as the third batch of important provincial wetlands. Jiuzihai, Yongsheng Chenghai and Lugu Lake in Ninglang were listed on the list.
