The stage of Oriental Opera Hall is the core of the whole theater, which adopts the internationally accepted "pin" shape stage. It also has a two-part orchestra with an area of 120 square meters, which can accommodate 100 people. The stage of the central performance area has side car platform, large car platform of 15 meters square, ice car platform, ballet stage, walking turntable of 14 meters in diameter, five double-layer electric lifting stages and other functions. Architectural features
Shanghai Oriental Art Center is designed by French architect Paul Andrews and jointly designed by East China design and Research Institute. It is a post-modern architecture. Shanghai Oriental Art Center starts from the dot in the center of the building and radiates into five "petal" hemispheres of different sizes, forming a dark green bowl shape, presenting as a "Phalaenopsis".
The roof of Shanghai Oriental Art Center is upturned in the periphery and sunken in the middle. In order to avoid water accumulation in the middle and increase the building's load, the roof is equipped with two siphon automatic drainage systems and one overflow drainage system, and a "lace" lamp is set around the roof to enhance the building's vision.
The design of Shanghai Oriental Art Center embodies the concept of "returning to nature",
The facade material of the whole building is double-layer transparent glass with one layer of metal perforated plate, and the color gradually becomes lighter from top to bottom. The exterior walls of each hall of Shanghai Oriental Art Center are made of ceramics of different colors. The three colors and the natural color of stone materials used in the design reflect the traditional Chinese color and the color of the earth (yellow, red, ochre Brown). The color of the wall tiles of each hall starts from the ground, forms a deep and light halo, and finally turns into a light gray, which is integrated with the ceiling.
