HUANHUAXI Park

HUANHUAXI park is located in HUANHUAXI historical and cultural scenic spot, which is the core area of HUANHUAXI historical and cultural scenic spot. It is adjacent to Dufu thatched cottage in the north and Sichuan Provincial Museum in the East. It is the largest and most invested open urban forest park in Chengdu so far. It is also rated as "the only five-star Park in Chengdu".

HUANHUAXI Park

HUANHUAXI park is the core area of HUANHUAXI historical and cultural scenic spot. It is located between the first ring road and the second ring road in the southwest of Chengdu. It is adjacent to Dufu thatched cottage in the north and Sichuan Provincial Museum in the East. It covers an area of 32.32 hectares and has a total investment of 120 million yuan. It is the largest open urban forest park with the most investment in Chengdu so far. It is rated as the only five-star Park in Chengdu.

Based on the historical and cultural connotation of Du Fu thatched cottage, HUANHUAXI park uses the cutting-edge theory of modern garden and architectural design to highlight the rich historical heritage of Western Sichuan culture with natural and elegant landscape and architecture. It is an urban park that combines natural landscape with urban landscape, classical garden and modern architectural art. The park is the largest open urban forest park in Chengdu. It is composed of wanshushan, canglanghu and Bailuzhou. HUANHUAXI River and Ganhe River pass through the park. It is the image of Du Fu's poetic charm.

Main attractions

The park is composed of Wanshu garden, plum garden and egret garden. Wanshu mountain, Canglang lake, sunshine lawn, Bailuzhou, Western Sichuan Cultural Performance square and other scenic spots are scattered among the three gardens. The park has a green area of 210000 square meters, with a hundred year old laurel, Cinnamomum camphora, Liriodendron, various begonias, Ginkgo biloba and hibiscus. The colorful flowers are in full bloom, and the green lawn emits bursts of fragrance. Local tree species and large-scale seedlings are used to form the park landscape.

Plum Garden

The plum garden is mainly water, with plum blossom and bamboo planted. Water, bridge and green trees blend into one.

Green wave Lake

The largest artificial lake in Chengdu. The small and large islands on the lake are connected with the roads, and the scenery of the lakes and mountains is full of poetic charm.

Huanhua River

When you step on the bridge, you still have the fragrance of poetry in your mouth. Your eyes have been attracted by the thousands of swimming fish in the Huanhua River under the bridge. The tourists by the bridge refuse to move. This is the place where you can watch the fish. It's exciting to buy a bag of fish food for 2 yuan per person, walk into the long corridor of Qilixiang, move a small bamboo stool, and feed the fish across the fence.

There are so many fish in the lake that people are dazzled. All kinds of Koi are very active and not afraid of people at all. As long as you throw fish food, there will be groups of fish swimming to grab food, the big ones are 40 or 50 cm long, and the small ones are 4 or 5 cm long. They surrounded, one by one grew up, the mouth toward you, like a crying child. I quickly dropped a handful of fish food. Just now, dozens of small mouths and hundreds of small mouths were quickly closed. It seemed that I was talking to you at the same time! The scene is very spectacular! It's very interesting. After a while, I'll finish eating. My head will sink, and I'll look for new fish food. If you don't immediately throw in new fish food, some of them are wandering around, but there are always some fish around you who are unwilling to walk. They are swimming, playing and chasing on the water surface, and their mouths seem to be talking to you.

Wanshuyuan

HUANHUAXI park features a man-made mountain of trees, a man-made lake Canglang lake, a wetland Egret Lake, two landscape buildings and four large leisure squares. From the "wind and rain corridor bridge" into the garden, it is Wanshu garden, which is planted with ginkgo, osmanthus, Magnolia and gardenia.

Canglang Lake

Canglang lake and Wanshu mountain are the other two scenic spots of HUANHUAXI park. Wanshu mountain is located in the southwest of the park. It is mainly a man-made mountain, planted in dense forest, covering an area of 65000 square meters. It is also equipped with "Wanzhu square" and "Western Sichuan folk culture square". Jinshui flows around it, and the shape of the mountain is rich. Greening is divided into spring, summer, autumn and winter, with sunshine lawn and flowers, creating the artistic conception of "green bamboos pass the path, green roses brush the clothes". Wanshushan in autumn is not as spectacular as the forest, but the beauty of Hibiscus.

Canglang lake is mainly composed of "entrance square of thatched cottage", shoals, streams, small islands and a landscape architecture "huanhuaju" on the island, creating the artistic conception of "two water with bright mirror, two bridges with rainbow".

Batiao tea garden

Huanhua River and Gan River meet here, which is the best place to enjoy the river scenery.

Wanzhu square

It is a leisure area for bamboo art, with Sichuan Traditional Bamboo processing technology reflecting the cultural characteristics of Western Sichuan. The square has a glass house made of toughened glass, which is an excellent place to watch the stars at night.

Egret Island

It is full of the artistic conception of "seeing birds at sunset, admiring fish in the pond". The unique landscape of harmonious coexistence between human and animals can provide food for egrets.

"A line of egrets in the sky" is another major attraction of Huanhua river. I came to Egret Island. "Seeing birds at sunset, admiring fish in the pond" is the artistic conception of Egret Island, where egrets live. Egrets are far away from the crowd. They live alone on the shore, or comb their white feathers with their long mouths, or look for something in the water, or look at the distance peacefully, or fly low next to the water, dancing their beautiful wings to show their graceful posture. Looking at them, people forget where they are. But a few wild ducks are not afraid of people. They swim to the shore freely and enjoy the food of the tourists. They quickly capture such a moment.

The road of poetry

Due to the special cultural background, the most prominent feature of HUANHUAXI park should be poetic. Entering from the South Gate of the park, the 388 meter long poetry Avenue is solemn and solemn, which makes people hold their breath. The poetry Avenue is just the entrance to the cultural center of poetry, and also a corridor to show the development history of Chinese poetry. Along the poetry Avenue, "life is a hero, death is a ghost hero", "I feel sad and shed tears when I read the long history of heaven and earth" and "I urge the God to cheer up again" are engraved on the marble under my feet.

The images, dynasties and years of birth and death of more than 300 famous poets make us experience the massiness of ancient Chinese culture. In the pines and cypresses on the left and right sides of the poetry Avenue, the statues of 25 famous poets of the past dynasties "wielding knives" by the sculptor Ye Yushan are vivid and attract visitors. Qu Yuan, Li Bai and Du Fu, the three greatest patriotic poets in China, are more like a monument standing at the end of the road. Everywhere shows the massiness of ancient Chinese culture.

Hometown of poetry

On the riverside and mountain of HUANHUAXI Park, there are also eight groups of sculptures, including "Guanju love", "Quyuan wading in the river" and "Eight Immortals drinking in the middle of the river", which show poetry allusions and important historical fragments in Chinese history. Beside the poetry Avenue, there is a new poetry path. On the 200 meter long path, the poems of modern poets are displayed, including poems about life, love and hometown. The poems of Wen Yiduo, Ai Qing, Bing Xin, Xu Zhimo, Shu Ting and Hai Zi are engraved. Along the way, it makes people feel that poetry is very close to us, and poetry is always around us. There is also a small poetry square in the path, which is surrounded by "Poetry Wall for tourists". On the walls on both sides are written "the state is born from the heart" and "sit and watch the clouds rise". Visitors can keep their excellent poems on the walls forever according to the prescribed procedures, or write poems repeatedly with water as ink and the square floor paved with yellow sand and stone as paper.

HUANHUAXI Park

When you walk into HUANHUAXI Park, if you see Japanese cartoon characters taking photos, don't think you are in the Japanese cartoon world. If you see Lin daiyuzheng and Baoyu enjoying the flowers, don't mistakenly think that you have entered the dream world. What you see must be real characters and stories. You can also invite the characters to take photos together. Because those lifelike, elvish and eccentric characters are actually real people, they are playing "Cosplay"! HUANHUAXI park has beautiful scenery and is also the heritage of ancient culture. The great sculptures of ancient poets and the poems of saving the world's people connect the present with the ancient. Leisurely streams, egrets flying, all let people into the dream feeling.
