Hometown of Xi Shi

Located in the hometown of Xishi, Zhuji, Zhejiang Province, Xishi hometown tourist area is the only national scenic spot and an important part of the national key scenic spot in Zhuji.

The total planning area of the whole tourist area is 1.85 square kilometers. According to the function, it is divided into one axis, one center and six areas. One axis is the Huanjiang tourist belt that runs through the whole tourist area from north to south. One axis refers to the xishidian scenic area with a certain scale. The other six areas refer to the main entrance management area, cormorant Bay ancient fishing village scenic area, ancient Yue cultural area, Meiyuan leisure and entertainment area, Sanjiangkou wetland ecological protection area and leisure resort area.

Cormorant Bay ancient fishing village scenic spot

With the existing cormorant Bay Village as the core, including the whole Jinji mountain. This area is a sightseeing area with the skeleton of fishing village composed of self-growing ancient street area, village square, ancient village, stage, teahouse, pond, ancient well and ancestral temple as the landscape content, and the main activities are browsing, visiting, fishing, Yue opera performance, tasting special snacks and purchasing special products.

Huansha River Scenic Belt

The waterfront landscape area with Huansha River as the main axis. The main content of the tour is to watch the landscape along the water tour line, and the main activities are to arrange river fishing, participate in cormorant fishing, and release River lights at night.

Sanjiangkou wetland ecological recreation area

More than 100 ancient Chinese female characters are selected. According to the characteristics of the characters, they are divided into seven units: four beauties, the legendary goddess, a hundred young historians, talented ladies, heroines, four folktales and the beauty gallery. The four beauties are the core of the exhibition hall. In addition, there are also static landscapes and dynamic display projects of chime music and dance, such as "Huansha Ji" brick wall, twelve flowers garden sketch.

Leisure resort

The belt land between Puyang River and Kaihua river is chosen as the leisure land

The area is relatively independent, and it is planned to be a landscape forest belt within 30-50m along Kaihua River to improve Huansha river landscape belt with natural community greening. The whole building is composed of Fan Li temple, God of wealth temple, Kuixing Pavilion, Sanxing Temple (temporary name) and other related buildings. It covers an area of 2000 square meters, with a construction area of 960 square meters. In the main hall, there is a bronze statue of Fan Li with a height of 3.5 meters. The wall behind the bronze statue is in the form of wooden strips imitating bamboo slips, which reproduces the wonderful chapter of Fan Li's story recorded in historical records. All the columns are inlaid with couplets. Two long corridors were built on the left and right sides of the hall to display the steles related to Fan Li's life and achievements, and to vividly introduce Fan Li's outstanding military, political and business talents in the form of painted murals. Other auxiliary buildings are built in accordance with the corresponding positions, and the related statues, such as Bigan, Zhao Gongming, Guan Gong, Fu, Lu and Shou Sanxing, are based on the images of folklore, with different expressions of sitting or standing. There are eight statues in Fan Li's ancestral hall. Except for the bronze statue of Fan Li, the rest are in the form of traditional gold and color painting.

Fan Li's ancestral hall, facing the southwest and backed by Jinji mountain, is magnificent. It adopts the folk architectural style of the Qing Dynasty. It is simple and elegant with Dai Wa and powder walls. In addition to "Kuixing Pavilion", the roof truss and corresponding components of the main buildings are purchased from the folk as a whole. Various wood carving components are dazzling and wonderful, which fully demonstrates the artistic characteristics of folk architecture in the south of the Yangtze River.

Xishi Hall

Zheng Danting

Out of the Xishi hall, you can see a pavilion on the Bank of the river, called Huansha Pavilion, also known as Xishi Pavilion. Down the footpath to the riverside, there stands a huge square stone with the name of "Huansha stone", which is listed in the dictionary of Chinese scenic spots. It is said that it was the place where Xi Shi and Fan Li exchanged keepsake and set a good place for a hundred years. So Huansha stone is also called jiefa stone. It is said that the lovers who have been to jiefa stone have a very happy love. Scholars of all dynasties have recited Huansha stone. Near the slope, there is a stone tablet inscribed by the calligrapher Mr. Sha Menghai. In addition, the walking paths and trestles built are winding and scattered, making Xishi Pavilion and Huansha stone a perfect scenic spot.

Pangshan stele Gallery

After Zheng Danting, you can enter the corridor of Panshan stele and ascend slowly according to the mountain. Through the display of pictures and poems about Xi Shi's deeds on the right wall, you can see many relics of Xi Shi left by Wu, a native of Yue, and have a glimpse of the life of this peerless beauty who went to the national calamity.
