Yue FeiTing
Yue Wumu portrait Pavilion is called Yue FeiTing for short. It's in the middle and top of Sheshan. In 1937, the Anti Japanese mass organizations in Wuhan cleared out a Ming Dynasty stone tablet engraved with the half body portrait of Yue Fei from the ruins of the original Yue Temple, which was moved to build a pavilion for the tablet, so as to carry forward the national spirit and encourage the people to adhere to the Anti Japanese war and oppose the patriotic enthusiasm of surrender. The pavilion is made of wood and stone, with six corners and a pointed roof, and a single eaves, which is quite dignified and simple. "Yuewumu portrait Pavilion" is engraved on the pavilion forehead, which is inscribed by Kong Qingxi. The couplet on the stone column below is: "how easy is it to shake the mountain and how difficult is it to shake the army, I wish my loyal soul to the Jinghu Lake and protect the heroic style of Jianghan Dynasty. The great cause starts from three families first; civil officials don't love money, and military officials are not afraid of death. They follow the theory of the Communist Party to revive the family and country, and leave the righteousness of heaven and earth, and the new you end from four-dimensional Zhang." The statue of Yue Fei engraved on the stele is a masterpiece of art with strong lines and heroic spirit. On the top of the image is a list of four character portraits written by Zhang Yixian of Taihe (today's Dali) in Yunnan Province in the 10th year of Wanli (1582). Now the stele is based on the original extension of the Ming stele..

Human history
Yue Fei (1103-1142), whose name is Peng Ju, was born in Tangyin County, Xiangzhou Prefecture of Song Dynasty (now Tangyin County, Anyang, Henan Province). He was a famous general who fought against Jin Dynasty in Southern Song Dynasty. He was a famous strategist, strategist and national hero in Chinese history. He was one of the four generals of Zhongxing in Southern Song Dynasty.
He joined the army at the end of the Northern Song Dynasty. In more than ten years from the time he met Zongze in 1128 to 1141, he led the Yuejia army to fight with the Jin army for hundreds of times. In 1140, Wanyan Wushu destroyed the alliance and attacked the Song Dynasty. Yue Fei led the Northern Expedition and recovered Zhengzhou, Luoyang and other places. He defeated the Jin army in Yancheng and Yingchang and marched into Zhuxian Town. However, song Gaozong and Qin Hui insisted on peace, and ordered to withdraw with twelve "golden cards", and Yue Fei was forced to take charge of the army in isolation. During the peace negotiation between Song Dynasty and Jin Dynasty, Yue Fei was framed by Qin Hui and Zhang Jun, and was arrested and put into prison. In January 1142, Yue Fei and his eldest son, Yue Yunhe, were killed with Zhang Xian on the charge of "Treason". During the reign of emperor Xiaozong of the Song Dynasty, Yue Fei's unjust imprisonment was rehabilitated and he was buried in qixialing on the Bank of the West Lake. After pursuing his posthumous title Wu Mu, he later pursued his posthumous title Zhong Wu and was granted the title of King E.
After the Lugouqiao Incident in 1937, the Chinese nation was in a critical moment of life and death. Yue Fei became a patriotic model to inspire the people to fight against the Japanese aggressors. When Wuhan Anti Japanese mass organizations were cleaning up the collapsed Yuewang temple, they found a blue stone stele engraved in April of the 10th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (A.D. 1582) with the portrait of Yue Wu Mu and the four character portrait praise poem written by Zhang Yixian, a native of Taihe (today's Dali) in Yunnan. So they recommended Hu Zhi of the 1911 Shouyi comrades' Association to raise funds and build a YUEWU Mu portrait Pavilion 8 meters east of the current site. The pavilion is named after the stele.
