Wuzhen Memorial Hall
Located in Weitang Town, Jiashan County, it covers an area of 2987 square meters and a construction area of 1658 square meters. It is a famous cultural tourist destination in the south of the Yangtze River. The main historical sites and scenic spots include Meihua nunnery, Wuzhen tomb, Meihua Pavilion, eight bamboo steles, caoshu Xinjing stele and Wuzhen exhibition room.

Wuzhen memorial hall, located at 178 Huayuan Road, Weitang street, Jiashan County, was built in August 2000 to commemorate Wuzhen, one of the four great painters of the Yuan Dynasty.
Introduction to Wuzhen
Wuzhen (1280-1354), with the word Zhonggui, is one of the four great painters in Yuan Dynasty. Wu Zhen began to learn painting when he was 18 or 9 years old. He was very good at landscape painting with the skill of Dong Yuan and Ju ran. His writing style was strong, broad and gloomy. His subjects were mostly fisherman, bamboo and Li Heng. He was another great master after Wen Tong. His poetry style was very simple and vigorous, and his cursive calligraphy was brilliant. Wu Zhen's main handed down works include Shuanghui Pingyuan, Yufu, Jiahe Bajing, Mozhu manual, caoshu Xinjing, etc. In the history of Chinese painting, Wuzhen is famous for his reclusive life and good at painting reclusive subjects. In the Yuan Dynasty, when literati painting flourished, Wu Zhen's works had a unique style, which typically reflected the unique cultural quality of ancient Chinese literati painting. Wuzhen Memorial Hall covers an area of 2987 square meters, which can be divided into two parts. One is the newly-built antique buildings, such as Wuzhen exhibition room and linquanju, which were built outside meihua'an mountain in August 2000, covering an area of 2177 square meters. The main scenic spots include Wuzhen exhibition room, Wuzhen sculpture, caibixuan, Hanbi Pavilion, Fanting, linquanju, yufutu stele corridor, Zhupu stele corridor, drip rockery, stone bridge scenery, etc The second is Meihua nunnery historic area, covering an area of 810 square meters, with Meihua nunnery, Wuzhen tomb, Meihua Pavilion, eight bamboo steles, caoshu Heart Sutra stele, Meihua spring and other historic sites. The architecture of Ming and Qing Dynasties is in harmony with Meihua nunnery and Wuzhen tomb. The pavilions and pavilions, small bridges and flowing water, plum blossoms and bamboo trees, birds singing and fish leaping, and the fusion of historic sites and new sceneries make it a famous cultural landscape in the south of the Yangtze River. In March 1963, the people's Committee of Zhejiang Province announced the tomb of Wuzhen as a provincial cultural relic protection unit. In April 1981, the people's Government of Zhejiang Province re announced the tomb of Wuzhen as a cultural relic protection unit at the provincial level. In February 1998, Wuzhen memorial hall was approved and announced as a provincial patriotic education base by Zhejiang provincial Party committee and people's government. In December 2001, Wuzhen memorial hall was approved as a national AA scenic spot by the National Tourism Administration.
