Daochang mountain, formerly known as Yunfeng, is located in Daochang mountain in the south of Huzhou City. It is the end of Tianmu Mountain. The highest peak is 210.7 meters above sea level. In history, "Daochang Xiaoji" was listed as the first of the "eight sceneries of Wuxing". According to historical records, the original pavilions of Daochang mountain are high, late, lake, moon, love mountain, tiger, sweet spring, Taibai and Miaomiao. By the Qing Dynasty, nine mountain pavilions still existed, and then gradually abandoned. At present, there is only Guanghao Pavilion on the hillside of Daochang mountain. It was built in 1933 and is the latest Pavilion in Daochang mountain. Daochang mountain is located 5 kilometers south of Huzhou City, with beautiful peaks and refreshing water and stone. On the top of the mountain, there is a pagoda built in the Song Dynasty. It has been standing for thousands of years and has been preliminarily restored for visitors to see. Wanshou temple, which was listed as one of the ten famous temples in the south of the Yangtze River in the Song Dynasty, has a great influence in the Buddhist circles in Japan and Southeast Asia. It has also been preliminarily renovated. There are Guanyin hall, thousand Buddha wall and other historic sites, and three wooden Guanyin statues presented by Lingyan mountain in Suzhou. The majestic Daochang mountain and the Bilang lake at the foot of the mountain set off an interesting contrast, which has been known as "Daochang Xiaoji" for generations. Su Shi of the Song Dynasty once left a good sentence: "the top of the Taoist temple is at the foot of the mountain, up to the cloud peak and down to the valley. I come from the mountain and water grottoes and still love this mountain. I can't see enough.".
Daochang mountain
Wanshou temple is located in the Daochang mountain, five kilometers south of Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province. Buddhist monk runa of Tang Dynasty came here to start the mountain. It is said that Buddhist monk runa once lived in the cave with tiger, because he respected him as the "ancestor of Fu Hu". The temple was first built in the Zhonghe period of emperor Xizong of Tang Dynasty (881-884). During the Five Dynasties (895-978), it was named "Wu Xingzheng Zhenchan Temple" and was renamed "Miaojue Temple" in the Northern Song Dynasty. At the end of the Ming Dynasty, the temple was repaired and the temple was built. During the Xianfeng Period of the Qing Dynasty (1851-1861), only the Guanyin hall survived and the rest was burnt. In 1877, the monk FA Qing came to the mountain and worked hard for more than 30 years. It has a large scale. The ancient temple has a great reputation, and the scholars and common people have a great influence on it.

In 1929, the abbot Zhufan repaired the Daxiong hall and rebuilt the Sutra collection building. The pagoda on the top of the mountain was built in the ningzong Dynasty of the Southern Song Dynasty (1195-1224), commonly known as the "Daochang pagoda". It has seven levels and eight sides, and has a hollow square, brick body and wooden eaves. It was rebuilt twice in the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty (1522-1566) and the Daodao period of the Qing Dynasty (1839). In 1986, the government allocated funds for large-scale renovation in the style of the Song Dynasty. If you are on the side of the tower and look around, you can have a panoramic view of the urban area. There are many peaks in the southwest and boundless wilderness in the northeast. On a sunny day, Taihu Lake can be seen faintly. The peaks are often covered by clouds and mist, the mountains are green, and the forest is deep and the spring is clear. It is called "Yunfeng mountain" in ancient times. In Su Shi's poem "where is the mountain of Daochang with tourists", there is a poem "where is the mountain at the top of Daochang, where is the valley under Yunfeng". I come from Shanshui grottoes. I still love this mountain, but I can't see enough... " I'm sorry. On the stone tablet are monk FA Qing, Jueming's complete picture of the Western Paradise and the picture of Daochang mountain. In the picture, there are ten landscapes outside the temple, most of which are now obliterated. At the rest of "Dongpo Jushi Road farm", there are reading hall, Yaoxi pool, Fuhu rock and cliff carvings of Yuan Dynasty. In Wang Yiting's book, the three characters of "free life pool" are embedded in the edge of the pool. ?
During the ten-year catastrophe, the Buddhist scriptures were destroyed for the first time. The Da Zang Jing was kept by the JIAYE Library in Nanxun. Later, the hall was demolished and razed to the ground, but the Guanyin hall survived. Hall for the five Ying Xie peak, the Ming Dynasty heritage structure, in 1986 from all walks of life Shanxin donated money to renovate. Zhao Puchu, President of the Buddhist Association of China, inscribed the title of the new mountain gate, the ancient temple regained its glory, and the famous orchid revived. ?
Existing buildings
The existing buildings of Wanshou temple include Guanyin hall, Daxiong hall, Sansheng hall, sutra library, sengliao and so on. Its unique Buddhist works are the pagoda on the top of the mountain and Guanyin on the newly built island. Among them, Guanyin island is 18 meters wide and 15 meters high, with vivid clay sculptures. There are two pagodas in the temple. The oldest one is the Lingta of master Faqing, the 41st generation of linjizong. There are two parts of Buddhist scriptures in this temple, one is the Qing Yong edition of dragon collection, and the other is the Japanese edition of Dazheng collection. ?
