The exhibition hall is divided into five parts: Urban Memory corridor, urban footprint corridor, master planning exhibition area, harmonious planning corridor and 180 degree arc screen 3D cinema. The museum displays the models of the Millennium Songjiang city wall hanging model, Songjiang celebrity multi LCD wall, Shili long street multimedia scroll, Songjiang old city, Songjiang New City, Songjiang Industrial Zone and Sheshan National Tourism Resort, covering the history, science and technology, culture, education, health, agriculture, tourism and modern industry of Songjiang.

The exhibition hall takes historical facts as the classics, culture as the soul, optoelectronics as the basis, times as the scene, and integrates knowledge, interest and enlightenment. The urban memory corridor highly summarizes the major events of Songjiang since the Neolithic period, and focuses on the famous works of Songjiang from the Western Jin Dynasty to the founding of the people's Republic of China. The 10 meter wide animation scroll is composed of five projection screens seamlessly spliced, which reproduces the prosperous scene of "ten mile long street" in the old city of Songjiang in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. There are interactive games and agricultural information interactive tables in the agricultural park exhibition area, which greatly enhance the participation of tourists. The visual impact of the 3D film "Songjiang - roots of Shanghai" lasted for 14 minutes, which not only let the audience appreciate the great changes and cultural accumulation of Songjiang, but also feel the heavy trust and responsibility entrusted to Songjiang by history and the times.
