Shanghai Jiading Museum

Jiading Museum, founded in 1959, is a local museum. It is located in the Confucius Temple in Jiading, which is known as "the first in Wuzhong". Jiading museum is open all year round, and it is free for tourists and student groups with senior citizen certificate, military certificate and disability certificate.

At present, the museum has "imperial examination Exhibition" in the Confucius Temple of Jiading, "Jiading bamboo carving Museum" in the Zhouqiao historic preservation area, and "life exhibition of Gu Weijun, a famous Chinese diplomat in modern times" and "life exhibition of Hu Juewen" in the fahua tower courtyard of Jiading.
