Evolution of organizational system
Zhou Tiegu belonged to Jingyi. In the 26th year of the first emperor of Qin Dynasty (221 BC), Jingyi was changed to Yangxian County, and Zhoutie belonged to Yangxian county.
In the 12th year of emperor Gaodi of Han Dynasty (195 BC), Zhoutie belonged to the Marquis state of Yangxian.
In the 12th year of Emperor Wen of the Western Han Dynasty (168 BC), it still belonged to Yangxian county.
Emperor Shun of the Eastern Han Dynasty Yongjian four years (129 years) with the county Wuxing county.
In the fourth year of Yongjia (310), Emperor Huaidi of the Western Jin Dynasty, zhoutiesui County belonged to Yixing county.
In 468, Suijun belonged to southern Xuzhou (now Zhenjiang). In 484, Suijun belonged to Yangzhou and later to southern Xuzhou.
In 589, Emperor Wen of the Sui Dynasty abolished the county, changed Yangxian County into Yixing County, and zhoutiesui County belonged to Changzhou.
In 619, Yixing county was changed into Ezhou. In the seventh year of Wude, Ezhou was changed into Nanxing. In the eighth year of Wude, it was still called Yixing county. Zhoutie also belonged to Changzhou.
In the second year of Qianyuan (759) of emperor suzong of Tang Dynasty, the county belonged to Runzhou (now Zhenjiang), and in the third year of Qianyuan, it returned to Changzhou.
In 976, in order to avoid the taboo of Emperor Taizong Zhao Guangyi, Xing county was changed to Yixing County, and Zhou tie belonged to Yixing county.
In 1275, Yixing county was changed into Nanxing army, and Zhoutie belonged to Nanxing army.
In 1277, nanxingjun was still changed into Yixing county. In the 15th year of the Yuan Dynasty, it was upgraded to Yixing Prefecture, belonging to Changzhou Road. In the 20th year of the Yuan Dynasty, it was changed to Yixing county. In the 21st year of the Yuan Dynasty, the county was upgraded to Yixing Prefecture, and Zhoutie belonged to Yixing Prefecture.
In the first year of Yuanzhen (1295), Yixing Prefecture was established as Yixing Prefecture, and Zhoutie belonged to Yixing Prefecture.
In 1369, the second year of Hongwu, Emperor Taizu of the Ming Dynasty, Yixing Prefecture was changed into a county, and zhoutiesui County belonged to Changzhou Prefecture. In Ming Dynasty, Yixing had 18 cities and 16 townships. Zhoutie was called zhoutieqiao city. In 1726, Yixing county was divided into Yixing county and Jingxi County. Zhoutie belonged to Dongshan Township of Yixing county.
In 1911, Dongshan Township was renamed Zhoutie Township, which was connected to Haidao along with the county towns.
In 1912, Jingxi County was removed and merged into Yixing county. The Nanjing provisional government withdrew the road, cut off the government and put it under the unified management of the county. More than 50000 people are called cities, less than 50000 people are called townships, and Zhoutie sets up townships.
In May 1924, zhoutiesui County belonged to Su Changdao. In 1927, Zhou tiesui county was directly under the Jiangsu provincial government. In 1932, Yixing belonged to Wujin administrative region.
In February 1934, zhoutiesui County belonged to the first administrative police district (Liyang county was set up by the office of the administrative Commissioner). In 1937, zhoutiesui County belonged to the third war zone of Jiangsu Province. In January of 1939, Zhou tiesui was affiliated to Jiangnan administrative office of Jiangsu Province. In 1941, Zhou tiesui county was still the first administrative police district (the office was stationed in Liyang). In April 1948, the office was stationed in Danyang county.
In April 1949, zhoutiesui County of Yixing County belonged to Wujin administrative region of South Jiangsu administrative office of East China military garrison Committee. In June, zhoutiesui County belonged to Changzhou special area. In January 1953, zhoutiesui County belonged to Suzhou special district.
In February 1956, Suijiang District, suixian County, Zhoutie town. In August 1958, Zhenjiang District was moved to Changzhou City, and Zhoutie town belonged to Changzhou district along with the county.
In September 1959, the organs of the special district moved back to Zhenjiang City, and Zhoutie township was renamed Zhoutie commune. In March 1967, Zhenjiang area was renamed Zhenjiang area. In 1964, Zhoutie town resumed its organizational system, which belongs to Zhenjiang area.
In June 1983, Zhoutie township was merged into Zhoutie town and renamed Zhoutie town.
In February 1988, Yixing county was removed to build a city, and Zhoutie belonged to Yixing City. In June 2000, Fenshui town was merged into Zhoutie town and renamed Zhoutie town. In February 2004, Zhoutie town was merged into Zhoutie town and renamed Zhoutie town.

In the Zhou Dynasty, an iron official was set up here, later known as the Zhou iron. Zhoutie city was established in Ming Dynasty, and Dongshan Township was renamed Zhoutie Township in 1911. After that, Zhou Tiezhen was set up. Zhoutie commune was established in 1959. In 1983, it was changed into Zhoutie town and Zhoutie township. In 1986, Zhoutie township was merged into Zhoutie town. Fenshui town and Yangxi town were merged successively in 2000 and 2004. On July 14, 2005, the municipal government's reply on agreeing to adjust Penggan village and other three village committee areas of Zhoutie town (Yizheng FA No. 143) approved the merger of Penggan village committee, Shiqiao village committee and Zhutang village committee, and the merged name was Penggan village committee.
