Zeng Jiayan, also known as "Zhou mansion", is located at Zhongshan 4th Road, Yuzhong District. It was a main office of the Southern Bureau of the Communist Party of China in the city.

The origin of history
After the CPC delegation moved from Wuhan to Chongqing in 1938, Comrade Zhou Enlai rented the house in his own name for the convenience of his work.
Located at the end of the street, the building is surrounded by a complex environment. On the right is Dai Li's residence, deputy director of the military Bureau of the national government, and on the left is the police station of the national government. At that time, Comrade Zhou Enlai carried out revolutionary work in this dangerous environment. Before he left Chongqing, Zhou Enlai held a farewell tea party on the 50th of Zengjiayan to the people in the cultural circles. He simply summed up, "Chongqing is really a negotiation city!"

Zhou Enlai, then Secretary of the Southern Bureau of the Communist Party of China, rented the first and third floors of No. 50 Zeng Jiayan as his personal living and office space. No. 49 on the left is the Chongqing police station, and No. 51 on the right is the residence of Dai Li, director of the military Bureau of the national government. From 1938 to 1945, Zeng Jiayan No. 50 was an important place for the outside world to understand and contact the Communist Party of China.
On May 4, 1939, Zengjiayan No. 50 was destroyed by Japanese bombing. Post reconstruction. In August 1945, during the negotiations in Chongqing, Mao Zedong held a press conference in the conference room on the first floor to contact people from all walks of life at home and abroad. In March 1947, the Communist party broke with the Kuomintang, Zeng Jiayan was sealed up by the authorities on the 50th, and all the Chinese Communists in Chongqing moved to Yan'an.
