Hekou town is the political, economic and cultural center of Hekou Yao Autonomous County. The terrain is long and narrow. It is distributed in the valleys of Honghe River and Nanxihe river. It is high in the north and low in the south. The lowest altitude is 76.4 meters at the confluence of the two rivers, and the highest altitude is 1005 meters at Huilong mountain in Zhongzhai. The annual average temperature is 22.6 ° C, the minimum temperature is 18 ° C and the maximum temperature is 42 ° C. The average annual rainfall is 1700mm.
