It is a three story building. It was officially opened to the outside world in September 2007. Based on the purpose of publicizing and promoting Tibetan medicine culture, the first floor of the center displays the complete medical Thangka of "four medical classics", medical utensils of various periods of ancient Tibetan medicine culture, and native medicinal materials from plateau. It fully reflects the development history of Tibetan medicine and medicine, and provides the most intuitive vision for tourists to deeply understand Tibetan medicine. Since its opening up, the center has received more than 200000 Chinese and foreign tourists every year, with a total of more than 1 million Chinese and foreign tourists. It has made a positive contribution to the promotion of Tibetan medicine and Tibetan medicine culture.
