Taishan Park
Taishan park is located in the west of Taizhou City, Jiangsu Province. It is the oldest and largest park in the city. All year round, the garden is full of grass, fallen flowers and trees. Every morning, there are morning exercisers on the grass, beside the lake and in the woods. During the holidays, there are even more tourists. Yuewumu temple stands on the top of Mount Tai. Under the shelter of trees, it welcomes and sees off the morning and sunset every day.
Historical evolution
From the origin, development to formation, the park has gone through more than a thousand years, which confirms the course of urban construction and cultural development of Taizhou's main urban area from one side. Many existing natural and cultural landscapes fully reflect Taizhou's rich cultural heritage.
It dates back to the 10th year of Shaoxing in the Southern Song Dynasty
(1140)
In order to alleviate the impact of drought and flood in Taizhou City, develop water transportation and facilitate residents to draw water, Wang Xun, who was then the magistrate of Taizhou, excavated the East and West rivers in the city. According to the topography of the urban area, the low-lying land and the old ditch are connected to form a river channel, which is connected with Zhongshi River and north-south water pass. After the completion of the project, the unique pattern of Taizhou outer city river and inner city river around the city was formed. During the excavation of Dongshi River and Xishi River, a large amount of earth was used to reinforce the city wall, and a part of the surplus earth was built up, like a hill pier. According to historical records, it was five Zhang high and more than 120 Zhang high at that time. This is the prototype of Mount Tai.
To the 10th year of Jiading in the Southern Song Dynasty
(1217)
Li Jun, the governor of the state, chose the place called Fangzhou in the south of xiaoshandun to build a garden, which is called Xiyuan. It covers an area of more than 100 mu. After completion, he wrote a story of Fangzhou in the twelfth month of Xinsi in Jiading, and later the name of the city was Li park. The park has a large scale and many scenic spots, including Shuiyun Township, xingwengtang, Xiaoyou Dongtian, Liuyi, Jiaoyu, Taoyuan, Zhiyu, mengou, Yichun Jiaqu, piao'an, Qiyi spring, zhuopulin, qinglongzhuang, Chunjie, diaotai, etc. This is the largest known garden in Taizhou history.
The second year of Baoqing in Southern Song Dynasty
(1226)
Chen Xun, the new governor of the state, dredged the present Xiaoxihu lake. According to historical records, the dike was built 187 Zhang in Zhou Dynasty. Building a building on a small mound is named qiyunlou, which means "xiyueyunfengqi" in Du's poems. It is four feet high, almost as high as a small mound. Dengsi tower, far sighted, "a hundred miles away from the city at present", the day of high air "Jingkou peaks, vaguely visible.". Overlooking the downstairs, you can have a panoramic view of the west garden. Anding Academy was built at the south foot of shandun to worship Hu Yuan, a great educator of the Northern Song Dynasty. This is 476 years earlier than the establishment of Anding Academy in Yangzhou, which is one of the earliest academies in Jiangsu Province. At the same time, pavilions, platforms, buildings and pavilions were built beside the Xiaoxihu lake. So far, taking xiaoshandun as the center, there are buildings on the mound, a lake in the west of the mound, a pavilion beside the lake, an academy in the south of the mound, a West Garden in the south of the Academy, and a real landscape within the city wall of Ximen in Taizhou. Unfortunately, these scenic spots were destroyed by war in the late Song Dynasty and early Yuan Dynasty.
The ninth year of Zhengtong in Ming Dynasty
(1444)
Taizhou Tongzhi Wang Simin built Taishan temple on the abandoned site of qiyunlou. This is the beginning of the name of Mount Tai. There are three theories: one is to build Taishan temple in memory of Hu Yuan's friend Sun Fu (named Taishan); the other is to praise Hu Yuan for going to Taishan in Shandong Province, studying hard with Sun Fu and Shi Jie for more than ten years, and later becoming a great educator. Building Taishan Temple is in harmony with anding academy, which means integration; the third is to take Taizhou as its name.
Zhengde years
(1506-1521)
Wang Hua, the general manager of Taizhou Qianzong, also built a jade temple in Shannan. In the 10th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1582), Shu Dayou, deputy military envoy of Taizhou, rebuilt the temple of Mount Tai into the temple of YUEWU mu in order to worship the national hero Yue Fei.
During the reign of Yongzheng in the Qing Dynasty, Jinshi Gong Weiliu, a native of the city, built a new "spring rain thatched cottage" beside the Xiaoxihu lake, and his son, Jinshi Gong Mengren, restored it after returning to the field.
Xiyuan was annihilated in the yuan and Ming Dynasties.
The beginning of Qing Dynasty
(1821)
Two brothers, youjindart and youjincheng, built a "grass hall in the west of the city" at the site of Xiyuan, which echoes the "spring rain grass hall" beside Xiaoxihu. It was called "Youyuan" in the folk. For a time, "literati in the city lingered in the place, and the wine was sung without empty day". Its grand occasion was no less than "Chunyu thatched cottage". Zhao Yu, a Gongsheng of Qing Dynasty, once wrote "six words and twelve chants of the thatched cottage" which has been handed down to the world. Now it is read as if the victory of "the thatched cottage in the west of the city" is reappeared.
After liberation
(1951)
Taizhou Municipal People's government is planning to build a park, which gathers many buildings, stone carvings, brick carvings, flowers and furniture with cultural value in the urban area. The park seems to have become a cornucopia. In addition to the Jietai of Guangxiao temple and the bell tower of Zhonglou lane, which were moved out of the park in the 1990s, the rest are still in the park.
Among the top-quality bonsai, there are hundreds of ancient bonsai in the garden, including pine, cypress, cypress, gouge and boxwood stump bonsai of different sizes. Among them, the top-quality bonsai include Qiao Yun Fei Du, he Li Lian Zhi, Yun Lian Qi Feng, Yun Luan Shan Xiu, and Ji Ding Yan Yun, which have won many prizes in domestic and foreign competitions. In addition, the famous pine stumps of the Six Dynasties in the original Songlin nunnery, the remains of the old locust tree in Shuiguan, the north gate, and the old Wisteria trees planted in the "Wisteria flower rack" make the park a "shelter" for the ancient and famous trees in Taizhou. It was originally built by Jiang Ke, the Ming Imperial historian, for his father Jiang Xing. The original object was changed into a memorial archway of martyrs' cemetery and placed beside the Taishan bridge. The four statues of Hu Ren stone on the base of Zhu Shi Fang were originally removed and placed by the back river of GUI garden. This is the only group of Ming Dynasty Hu Ren stone statues in the province and is a provincial cultural relic protection unit. The stone carvings of the Ming Dynasty, such as Weng Zhong, horse, sheep and tortoise, on the Shinto of Minghuan Chu tomb are adjacent to and associated with lions, tigers, leopards and bears in the original zoo. A chastity archway became the support of a small bridge on the lake. The couplets on the stone pillars are still very clear. Nearly 100 brick carvings on the wall of the former Ming Dynasty Jiangke residence were moved as decorations on the walls of the martyrs' ancestral hall, and were painted with a layer of paint by "kind-hearted people". The five pairs of stone lions on the hillside and at the foot of Mount Tai, up and down the steps of the martyrs' temple and beside the gate of the original park are rare ancient stone sculptures with different shapes and styles.
Building relocation
Many Ming and Qing buildings in the park were moved from the urban area. Wangyue building was originally rebuilt from the wood of Jietai Hall of Guangxiao temple. The three Ming Dynasty buildings in the north of osmanthus garden come from Wang's residence, a cultural relic preservation unit in dalinqiao province. The office building of the garden management office was originally the building of a Qing Dynasty bank next to Dahua Cinema in Beimen. A row of buildings in the East Garden used to be the office building of Shangba police station in Qigan lane at the beginning of liberation. A group of elegant and simple mahogany furniture in it can be called a unique one in Taizhou. As for a temple in the north of the garden, it is the second Hall of the Taishan palace in the Ming Dynasty.
Mount Tai Park, which has a history of thousands of years, with its massiness of Mount Tai, the beauty of the small West Lake, the elegance of the basin garden and the brilliance of many cultural relics, tells people about the long history of Taizhou, shows the aura and charm of the ancient city, and reflects the inheritance of the history and culture of the famous city. When Taizhou moves towards the future with a new open attitude, we should keep the context of Taishan Park and the root of humanistic Taizhou.
Communication impact
Gathering of scholars
With the development of salt and grain production and marketing, Taizhou once became a gathering place for scholars, including Wang Wei, Bai Juyi, Li Shangyin, Fan Zhongyan, Yan Shu, Ouyang Xiu, Wang Anshi, Qin Guan, Su Shi, Wen Tianxiang There are many famous people who come here to work, live abroad and have recreation. At the foot of Mount Tai in the west of the city, there is a small bridge with flowing water and winding paths leading to seclusion. The lingering charm of their songs not only makes a string of picturesque scenes seem to reappear, but also makes today feel a magical breath from history.
Spring rain in West Lake and setting sun in Gufu
Among the "eight sceneries before and after Hailing" in the main urban area of Taizhou, Mount Tai Park has two sceneries: the spring rain of West Lake and the setting sun of Gufu. The West Lake is the small West Lake. It is named for its small and exquisite shape. It has long dyke, Fangyu, Lin Pavilion and Xun Pavilion. Wang Shi, a painter of the Ming Dynasty, once wrote a "picture of the little West Lake". After the picture, he wrote a poem by Liu Wanchun, a Jinshi and Taizhou native in the 44th year of Wanli of the Ming Dynasty: "only the West Lake is in Qiantang, where the light and the color of beauty are boundless; the smoke drags the willows on the banks, and the wind blows the fragrance of the lotus. Looking to the south across the Yangtze River, he flew across the waters of the Six Dynasties for no reason. He once knew two peaks in his life and wandered in his dreams every night. There is also a small West Lake in my hometown, at the foot of Mount Tai, in the west corner of the city; frogs and drums gather moss in the forest, wild geese and sand gather together, and there are residual reeds in the wild. Rather know to meet Yang Bo, body for Jianghuai sky half wall; carry sparse carry set chase Yugong, dun make Lake wave still green. The green river is like a belt and a ring. It's between Haopu and Zhentong. The bridge leads to Xianfang, and the green trees wait for beauties to climb. Wang Lang is a good painter in the history of painting. When he took it to the middle of Vietnam, could he still feel like the West Lake Huang Yun, a poet of Taizhou in the Qing Dynasty, wrote in his title of Xiaoxihu: "in addition to Qiantang, there is also a lake. Crossing the bridge, blossoming and peach blossoming or not, turning willows and cattles across the wind of the Pu river.... "
Zheng Banqiao's Poems
Zheng Banqiao, one of the eight monsters in Yangzhou, often wrote poems and painted here,
Write down the well-known word "congratulations to the bridegroom: a gift"
The old Wuling guest, the town of sun to the small West Lake, Linliu Nongshi. The rain washes the pear flowers and the wind softens. It has already teased the bees and butterflies, but it's cold in spring. Smell road can be not far away, turn to draw bridge west to luomenbi. When I heard it, I heard the high-rise flute.
The reason is that the face of the miser is still missing. Who knows that he is diligent and cherishes the deep sea clouds. A night ago, my confidant tears, carrying a short bag to steal drops, but also wet each other. It's early next spring. I'll chew the Acacia juice and dye it together. My liver and intestines are red.
