Cuiping peak

Cuiping peak is the most beautiful peak in Liangshan Temple scenic area. It is a green barrier composed of more than 10 independent and dependent peaks. Outside the peak is a precipice to the north, connecting Liangshan temple, Sheshen cliff and Leigong gorge to the west, and Laoya village, Taohua peak, Dongshan village and Zhaobi cliff to the East.

In autumn, the mountains are covered with frost and leaves, and the forests are dyed. They are red and green with green pines and cypresses. After the winter solstice, the peak is covered with snow, green and auspicious snow. The scenery of Cuiping peak is pleasant all the year round, no matter in spring, summer, autumn and winter.

Features of scenic spots

There are many peaks in Jianmen, each of which has its own unique scenery. As the saying goes, "when you get to Jianmen pass, you must go to Liangshan; if you don't go to Liangshan temple, there is no place to talk about Xiongguan.". Liangshan Temple scenic spot is also the essence of Jianmen scenery. It is recorded that "Liangshan Also known as dajianshan, gaoliangshan. Hundreds of miles from the east to the west, the mountains are long and steep, and the situation is dangerous. In ancient times, it was a military center. "It is said that Xiao Yan, the emperor of Liang Wu, once practiced Taoism here. There was a temple at the top of Dajian mountain. On his way to Sichuan, Emperor Xuanzong of Tang went to the Jinghuang cave where emperor Liang Wu collected scriptures to read them. He did not want to return to the Dynasty. Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty sent his sister to Liangshan temple for hair cutting. Liangshan ancient temple is located on the "sacrificial cliff" between Taohua peak and Xiaoyao peak of Jianmen 72 peak, 1180 meters away from the sea. The temple faces south from the north. Now, the temple used to be large-scale and dignified. Now, the main hall survives. The three doors of the hall are open, and a couplet is hung on the left door. There are two dragons wrapped around the pillars on both sides of the hall. Eighteen Arhats are made in two chambers. In front of the main hall, there is a thousand year old crape myrtle tree which lives with the temple. It is towering, winding and elegant. It is a rare ancient and famous tree. The image of "fragrant trees outside the door, Jinghua waving Buddha's face, and a pool of water reflecting Zen heart" depicts the elegant demeanour of the crape myrtle tree. The original well under the crape myrtle tree is about 2 meters deep. It's warm in winter and cool in summer. It doesn't dry up all the year round. There is a 60 Jin "sun dried" colored stone soaked in it. There is an Oolong pool behind the temple. There are amphibians and salamanders living in the mountains. The local people call it oolong. Although there is no Oolong pool now, it is still hidden in wet places. It often appears in rainy days in summer and autumn.

The next grotto in Cuiping peak is called Jinghuang cave. The cave is more than 10 meters deep and 30 meters wide. The cave is spacious and can accommodate hundreds of people. The entrance of the cave is close to the stream and full of thorns. It is said that it was the place where emperor Wu collected scriptures. In order to avoid the rebellion of Anshi, the emperor of Tang and Ming lived here for seven days, chanting sutras and worshiping Buddhas, in order to eliminate disasters. After the king's cave for monks to collect scriptures. There is an artificial water lake under the Jinghuang cave, which is called Cuiping lake. The lake is quiet, and it is a good place for summer heat. Wangyunping in Liangshan Temple scenic area is the best place to watch the clouds and enjoy the fog. When you look around, you can see: the big and small Jianshan mountains are steaming and misty, and the pines are surging; Cuiping peak is deep and picturesque, and green; sheshenya cliff is steep and straight; the Huangdong Canyon is deep, and the gods and monsters are confused; the big and small holes are strange and alluring All of them attract tourists from home and abroad.
