The rooster dropped into the sea and turned into Jiming Island, while the young donkey fell into the sea and turned into Hailu island. Only two shoulder poles floated away with the water and stopped in the Zhifu area of Yantai and turned into shoulder pole island.

According to the notes written by Xu Ke of the Qing Dynasty, Jiming island belongs to Rongcheng County, Dengzhou Prefecture, Shandong Province. It is isolated in the sea. In the Ming Dynasty, there were garrisons and soldiers entering the pass. Farmers and old men did not want to shave their hair. The island is very rich, and the tax collectors disappear, just like an overseas peach garden. During the Sino Japanese War of Guangxu in 1894-1895, some people in the Navy patrolled to the place, and the island started. Traffic information

Because of its geographical location, Gangxi town is relatively close to Weihai City, only 30 kilometers east of Weihai City, and remote from Rongcheng City, it is recommended to transfer from Weihai City to Gangxi town. There is a direct bus from Weihai to Jiming island. Take a CMB bus from Weihai long distance bus terminal to hutoujiao Wharf in Gangxi Town, and then take a ferry to Jiming island at hutoujiao. The round-trip fare is 50 yuan per person and 60 yuan per person in peak season.

Weihai - hutoujiao wharf: take the CMB bus from Weihai long distance bus terminal to hutoujiao Wharf (namely Jiming island tourist wharf) in Gangxi town. The ticket price is 9 yuan and the bus runs every 2 hours. From Jiming Island back to Weihai, you can also take the CMB bus in hutoujiao parking lot, which also runs every 2 hours. Hutoujiao parking lot has the schedule of bus return to Weihai and the phone number of bus driver.

Weihai Gangxi town hutoujiao wharf: at Weihai long distance bus station, there is a minibus to Chengshantou scenic spot passing Gangxi town. It takes 25 minutes and the whole journey takes 40 minutes. The fare is 7 or 5 yuan per person. In the center of Gangxi Town, there is a bus to hutoujiao wharf, which runs every half an hour. The ticket price is 1 or 5 yuan per person. Gangxi town is the departure station of the bus, and the station is on the west side of Gangxi town government.

Hutoujiao wharf Jiming Island: the only way to get to the island from Gangxi town is to take the ferry at hutoujiao wharf. You must ask for the return flight in advance. There are 4 ferries in Jiming Island, including No.1, No.2, No.3 and No.4. Among them, No.3 and No.4 can carry 99 passengers and 4 ferries can carry 277 passengers per trip.

The commuting boats in the village enter the island at 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. every day for free. Take a small fishing boat to Jiming Island round trip is generally 200 yuan, the price is calculated by the whole ship. If it's a single person, it's 20 yuan per person.
