Jiaoshan Great Wall is 3 kilometers north of guchengshan customs. It is the remaining vein of Yanshan mountain. It is the highest peak of North Mountain barrier of Guancheng, with an altitude of 519 meters. Its peak is a big flat top, which can seat hundreds of people in Pingguang. There are huge rocks, which are like the dragon head wearing horns, so it is named. Jiaoshan scenic spots mainly include Jiaoshan Great Wall, enemy platform, Jiaoshan temple and Ruilian panri. Jiaoshan is the first peak of the Great Wall from laolongtou to the north, so it is also called "the first mountain of the Great Wall".

Jiaoshan Great Wall was built in the early years of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty, extending 1536 meters from hanmenguan at the foot of the mountain to Dapingding. Most of the walls are made of local materials and built with rough stones, and some of them are built with bricks and long stones. The height and width of Jiaoshan Great Wall have obvious characteristics of following the trend of the mountains. The height of the great wall here is generally 7-10 meters, with an average width of 4-5 meters. In the steep part of the mountain, there are also the use of cliff masonry, can be narrow to 2.7 meters wide. The outer side of these walls is very steep and difficult to attack, and the inner side is very low, so it is easy to climb the wall. The situation in Jiaoshan is very dangerous, and the Great Wall in Jiaoshan is also very dangerous. The great wall here is either low and winding, or straight into the sky. From a distance, it looks like a mountain hanging upside down, which is really spectacular. The ancient poem says: "since ancient times, the pass is as dangerous as the pass. The key pass is in Jiaoshan mountain. The Great Wall is hanging upside down on the peak. Overlooking the pass, you can see it in front of you.

Jiaoshan scenic area integrates mountain, city and temple. The gate is designed in imitation of the architectural form of Ming Dynasty castle, and its shape is like the word "mountain". Huang Hua, former Vice Premier of the State Council and President of the Great Wall Society of China, inscribed the plaque of "Jiaoshan Great Wall" on the front. He Jingzhi, a contemporary poet, wrote the plaque of "Bihai Xiongfeng" on the back. There is a poem that says: "since ancient times, the city is as dangerous as possible, and there is no dangerous pass in Jiaoshan", which is enough to prove the danger of Jiaoshan. Jiaoshan Great Wall is the boundary between Liaodong Town and Jizhen town in Ming Dynasty. There are five enemy platforms, five battle platforms and one pass. Standing on the flat top of the highest peak of Jiaoshan mountain, you can see the magnificent scene of drums and swords in the ancient battlefield.

Deep in Jiaoshan, there is an ancient simple and elegant Temple Qixian temple. Xiao Xian, the calligrapher of Ming Dynasty, Zhan Rong, the left servant of the Ministry of war, and Zheng Ji, the censor of supervision, all lived here and devoted themselves to study. This place is known as "the cradle of Shanhaiguan culture" and built Kuixing Pavilion. Those who like classical literature can come here to experience the scene of Xiao Xian and others studying hard in the cold window.

The top of Jiaoshan mountain is an ideal place to watch the sunrise, where you can see the spectacular scene of "Ruilian holding the sun". When you visit Qixian temple in summer and autumn, you may encounter "mountain temple is towering, forcing Taiqing, rainy below and sunny above". In front of the terrace, you can see the dragon's fight, and outside the sill, you can see the wonder of "the sun and the moon are bright".. "Ruilian holding the sun", "Shansi Yuqing", "Jiaoshan sea of clouds", "Qixian Buddha light" are known as "four wonders of Jiaoshan".
