Angangxi site, located near Angangxi Town, Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province, is a Neolithic site group with rich cultural connotation in Heilongjiang Province. Angangxi culture, named after Angangxi site, is a Neolithic archaeological culture characterized by the microlithic age, which is widely distributed in the vast grassland area with Nenjiang River Basin as the center. Angangxi site is located 25 kilometers southwest of Qiqihar. Angangxi area is located in the western edge of Songnen Plain, with high terrain in the northwest and low terrain in the southeast. It is adjacent to Daxinganling in the West and is located in the middle reaches of Nenjiang River. The Angangxi site group consists of 22 sites and 17 relic sites, 39 of which are located on the left bank of Nenjiang River. They are distributed in three towns of angxi District, with a span of about 30 km from east to west and from south to north. Angxi Site Museum
Angangxi site museum is the first prehistoric site museum in Heilongjiang Province, which clearly represents the Neolithic fishing and hunting civilization in northern China 7000 years ago. The museum has a collection of more than 3000 cultural relics, including 27 precious ones, which is one of the important bases for the study of grassland fishing and hunting culture in northern China.
Introduction to the exhibition hall
The Angangxi site museum is the first Prehistoric Culture Museum in the province built on the tengjiagang site, a national key cultural relic protection unit. It was founded in 2002, covering an area of 11000 square meters and a building area of 1850 square meters. It has received more than 50000 person times of Chinese and foreign experts, scholars and audiences from all over the world. In 2010, the museum set up a new exhibition, displaying more than 1500 unearthed cultural relics, which perfectly reproduced the scenes of human production and life 7000 years ago by using modern high-tech multimedia technology. The museum now displays two contents: "the cradle of northern fishing and hunting civilization" and "Mr. Liang Siyong and Angangxi culture".

The cradle of northern fishing and hunting civilization
"Cradle of northern fishing and hunting civilization" exhibition is divided into two halls A and B, covering an area of 680 square meters, with more than 1000 cultural relics on display. The exhibition mainly introduces the origin, development and evolution of fishing and hunting civilization in Nenjiang River Basin, the important role of fishing and hunting economy in early human development, and the position of Angangxi culture in the study of ancient Chinese history. The exhibition is divided into four parts: Archaeology, fishing and hunting civilization, protection and research, participation and interaction. A ring screen demonstration was made in the middle of the exhibition hall. With the help of advanced exhibition concepts and rich exhibition methods, and with the help of sound, light, electricity, multimedia and other modern scientific and technological means, the scenes of the ancient ancestors living in the water and fishing walls 7000 years ago were reappeared in front of us.
Mr. Liang Siyong and angxi culture
"Mr. Liang Siyong and Angangxi culture" is the only exhibition hall commemorating Mr. Liang Siyong in China. The exhibition hall covers an area of 152 square meters, with a bronze statue of Mr. Liang Siyong and 35 pieces of literature materials and living things on display. The exhibition hall is divided into four parts: Mr. Liang Siyong, the first special archaeologist in China, the establishment of Mr. Liang Siyong and Angangxi culture, Mr. Liang Siyong's contribution to Chinese archaeology, and the memory of Mr. Liang Siyong. With the latest display concept and exhibition form, the exhibition hall introduces to the audience the whole story of the discovery of Angangxi culture by Mr. Liang Siyong, the first person of Chinese scientific archaeology, and his outstanding contribution to the cause of Chinese archaeology.
In archaeology, we call the Neolithic culture represented by the tomb excavated by Mr. Liang Siyong "Angangxi culture", which is the archeological benchmark of Neolithic fishing and hunting culture in the grassland of northern China. It proves that the Nenjiang River Basin is not an ancient wasteland, and the people used their diligence and wisdom to create a brilliant civilization, which is helpful for the study of the origin and primitive society of early human beings in northern China At the same time, it is also an important place to study the production, life, residence and folk customs of primitive human beings in northern China.
Honors
The Neolithic site of Angangxi was declared as a key cultural relic protection unit at the provincial level by Heilongjiang provincial government in 1982 and a national key cultural relic protection unit by the State Council in 1988. Angangxi Heritage Museum has been named as the provincial patriotism education base, the provincial national defense education base and the "top ten scenic spots" of Hecheng.
