In 1992, Huangyangshan Forest Park in Zhuolu county was officially opened to tourists. In 2004, it passed the inspection and acceptance of the national expert group and was officially promoted to the National Forest Park. Huangyangshan Forest Park in Zhuolu county is the first provincial forest park in our province. It is another tourist attraction integrating ecology, humanities, religion and culture in Zhangjiakou City. The park is divided into four scenic spots: Qingliang temple, Xiangfeng temple, longwangtang and Tashan. On the morning of April 24, 2005, the opening ceremony of Huangyangshan National Forest Park in Zhuolu county was officially held.

Buhe, former vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, inscribed "Huangyangshan National Forest Park". Gao Dezhan, former chairman of the agriculture and Rural Committee of the National People's Congress, former Minister of the Ministry of forestry, and former Secretary of the Tianjin municipal Party committee, wrote an inscription for the park: "the eternal civilization opens Zhuolu, and the Huangyang wins Jingtian.". Huangyang mountain is located 5 kilometers northwest of Zhuolu County, which is the remnant of Yanshan mountain. It covers an area of 31611 mu, with the highest altitude of 1563 meters. It is 110 km away from Beijing Badaling and 35 km away from Guanting Reservoir in the East, 40 km away from Xiaowutai Nature Reserve in the south, 25 km away from Huangdi city and 40 km away from Dongling Mountain in the northwest, 50 km away from Zhangjiakou City in the northwest, 15 km away from Jingbao railway and Jingzhang Expressway in the East and 2.5 km away from Jinghua Expressway in the West. It is rich in forest resources and geological resources, including 1700 species of trees, shrubs, grass and other plants; there are many peaks and mountains, and there are dozens of wild animals, including roe deer, badger, wild boar and 185 species of birds; it has a rare stalactite landform in northern China and many cultural landscapes with a long religious culture.

Qingliang temple in Huangyangshan National Forest Park was built in Han Dynasty, expanded in Tang Dynasty, and reached its peak in late Ming and early Qing Dynasty. It is a famous Buddhist holy land in northern China. There are Daxiong hall, Guanyin hall, four heavenly kings hall, Leng monk temple and the second floor of Bell and drum in the temple. The "longfengsong" and "wolongsong" in the temple have a history of thousands of years. Emperor Kangxi, Emperor Qianlong and Emperor Xianfeng all came here to pray for Buddhist scriptures. Many literati visited the temple and left more than 50 pieces of authentic inscriptions. There are rare treasures in Qingliang temple, which are rarely known: monk Leng, master nengchen, the flesh Buddha is one of the treasures; there are tens of thousands of Buddhist scriptures in the temple, the number and integrity of which can be compared with Mount Wutai in Shanxi; during the cultural revolution, master Dengguo twisted the "Dafang Guangfo Huayan scripture" into a rope, which made the "rope scripture" preserved and become a precious cultural relic. Qingliang Temple scenic area has also established "China South Korea Friendship forest", "Party member pioneer forest", and "TV pioneer forest" with CCTV. In addition, Huangyang hotel has been built according to the star standard, with a daily reception capacity of 75000 people.

Xiangfeng Temple scenic area is rich in vegetation and infinite natural scenery. It is a millennium old road farm in the north. The Pinus tabulaeformis forest on the platform is a good natural hunting ground.
