Architectural features
Tongxin mosque is a traditional Chinese classical architectural style with a construction area of 2870 square meters.
The temple is divided into inner and outer courts, which are relatively spacious. Major Muslim festivals often gather here for ceremonies. In front of the gate of the temple, there is a 9-meter-long and 6-meter-high screen wall with a brick carving pattern of "moon hidden pines and cypresses". In contrast to the screen wall, there are three brick doors, engraved with Arabic brick carvings and flower patterns, which are exquisite and lifelike. There are three characters "mosque" written on the middle gate, and the two coupons on the left and right have "patience" and "patience" respectively. In the upper part of the gate, there was a 3-story bunker building with four corners and a sharp roof. It was damaged by tornadoes in the period of the Republic of China, and then it was rebuilt into a 2-story building. There are five North and five South lecture halls in front of the hall, forming a courtyard layout with the hall.
The main hall is connected by two hilltops and a rolling shed roof. It has 5 rooms in width and 9 rooms in depth. It is supported by more than 20 columns, paved with wooden boards, and decorated with Koran calligraphy on the walls. The hall is spacious and can accommodate more than 1000 people to worship at the same time. The hall is exquisitely decorated with warped eaves and brackets, solemn and simple. In 1938, he once opened the Imam elementary school in the temple
