Tamutoglak Township, Awati County, Xinjiang is located in the west of Awati county. It is adjacent to Dongfeng pasture, Duolang Township and aybage Township in the East, Fengshou Sanchang in the south, yingairike Township in the West and Baishi Airike town in the north, with a total area of 1704.48 square kilometers. There are 18 administrative villages and 56 villager groups in the township. The total population is 22399 (2017). Tamotogolak township is located in the warm temperate continental arid climate zone. The farmland in the township is fertile with abundant light, heat and water resources, which is very suitable for the growth of all kinds of crops. The main economic crops are cotton, grain, melons and fruits, with a high level of productivity.
