Founded on January 2, 1950, Harbin Korean National Art Museum is now located at No. 85, Ansheng street, Harbin City, with an area of 9336 square meters. In 2006, Harbin municipal government increased investment in cultural undertakings, increased the area of Korean National Art Museum by means of real estate replacement, from 3700 square meters to 9336 square meters. At the same time, Harbin municipal government invested nearly 10 million yuan in the maintenance and renovation of the new museum, providing good conditions for Korean National Art Museum to further expand its service field and improve its functional facilities.
