Jibuhulangtu Sumu is a Sumu under the jurisdiction of Hulunbuir new balhuzuo banner in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. In the spring of 1984, Sumu suffered a rare snow disaster. Due to the effective resistance to the disaster, only 5000 livestock were lost in the whole Sumu, and the livestock loss in the whole banner was the least. With the deepening of reform and opening up, Sumu has implemented the livestock and grass double contract responsibility system. The Party committee of Sumu guided herdsmen to change their ideas and management methods, held scientific livestock training courses, trained spark leaders, and continued to strengthen the construction of animal husbandry infrastructure and the prevention and control of epidemic diseases. The injection density of various vaccines was over 95%. At the end of 2003, there were 194424 livestock in Sumu, including 4416 cattle, 1757 horses, 188206 sheep and 45 camels. It has 20 motor wells, 198 simple wells, 1.02 million mu of enclosed grassland, 11000 mu of feed base, 85 standardized sheds, 276 small tractors and 224 rakers.
