Haiyin Bridge
Haiyin bridge is a river crossing channel connecting Yuexiu District and Haizhu District in Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, China. It is located on the north main stream of the Pearl River and is one of the main roads in Guangzhou city.
Haiyin bridge was built in July 1985;
It was completed and opened to traffic on December 27, 1988;
It stopped charging in January 2001.
Haiyin bridge is connected with Donghu road in Yuexiu District in the north, the Pearl River Waterway in the upper and Dongxiao road in Haizhu District in the south. The total length of the line is 1130.75 meters, and the main bridge is 416 meters long. The bridge deck is a two-way six lane urban trunk road with a design speed of 60 km / h.
Construction process
In July 1985, construction of Haiyin bridge, formerly known as the fourth Pearl River Bridge, began.
In December 1988, Haiyin bridge was completed and put into operation.
In January 2001, Haiyin bridge stopped toll collection and demolished toll collection facilities.
From November 23, 2016 to mid January 2017, Haiyin bridge was under repair.
On August 23, 2017, the dynamic and static load test of Haiyin bridge was carried out, and the two-way closure construction was carried out; on August 25, 2017, the closure construction of Haiyin bridge was completed.

Haiyin bridge is located in ershatou, Yuexiu District, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, China. It is 0.8km away from Jiangwan bridge in the West and 3.2km away from Guangzhou Bridge in the East. The North approach bridge connects Donghu Road, Yuexiu District, and crosses and interchanges Yanjiang Road. The south approach bridge connects Dongxiao Road, Haizhu District, and crosses and interchanges Binjiang Road.

Haiyin bridge is composed of main bridge on water, north-south approach bridge on land and interchange ramp. The whole section of the bridge is roughly arranged in the direction of due south and due north. Design concept
Haiyin bridge is the first cable-stayed bridge in Guangzhou. The name of Haiyin comes from Haiyin stone in Sanshi, Yangcheng, at the north end of the bridge.
The top of the tower of Haiyin bridge is like two "sheep horns", implying the city of Yangcheng. Under the construction of lighting, Haiyin bridge is like a two masted ship sailing in the rising sun. At the same time, it is like two huge harps playing the light and shadow movement of the Pearl River with the colorful water pattern on the river, With the changing color of the light flow, the river is rendered colorful and gorgeous. The dynamic and static art of the bridge has got a new interpretation here.

Haiyin bridge is the first prestressed concrete box girder cable-stayed bridge with double pylons and single cable plane built in China;
The main bridge is a three span cable-stayed bridge with braided cable plane. The side of the tower is inverted Y-shaped. The elevation of the sling is arranged with fan-shaped dense cables. The inclined sling area is separated in the middle. The tower columns above the bridge deck are inverted Y-shaped and consolidated with the bridge deck and the double row piers under the bridge. The bridge deck is a prestressed concrete structure. The middle part is a three chamber thin-walled reinforced concrete box, and cantilever T-beams and box girders are set on both sides. The tower columns and double piers are hollow thin-walled reinforced concrete Concrete structure. The main section of the bridge is a two-way six lane urban expressway, which adopts the first-class highway standard.

The lighting of Haiyin bridge is divided into four parts: the first part is the lighting of the steel cable. The cable itself is painted red. According to the inherent characteristics of the bridge, the RGB full-color projection lamp is used to light the bridge cable in red to set off the facade of the bridge under the natural moonlight. Second, more than 800 full-color linear wall washing lamps are used on both sides of the bridge to illuminate the bridge body, and the flowing color light is used to express the image of water; whenever the boat is in the river, the colorful waves of water in the air flow against each other, bringing various carrier conditions into full play, giving people a sense of dynamic and static flow beauty. Thirdly, more than 80 high-power projectors are used to illuminate the facade of each pier, so as to facilitate the boat to see the bottom structure of the bridge from a distance and meet the lighting needs and landscape requirements. Finally, combined with the full moon shaped circular hole structure at the top of the bridge, 12 square projectors are placed in the bridge to create a full moon like crystal clear.

Technical problems
The box girder of Haiyin bridge is constructed by double cantilever casting method with hanging basket.
