You can enjoy another beauty of the night of Yangcheng by boat in the first dock of Guangzhou
Tianzi Wharf
Tianzi wharf, a famous landmark of Guangzhou, is commonly known as "the first wharf of Guangzhou". It is located at the junction of Yanjiang middle road and Beijing Road, Yuexiu District, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province. There are ferries across the Pearl River. The textile wharf and Zhongda Wharf in Haizhu District are now used for sightseeing besides crossing the river. Most of the night boats of the Pearl River set sail here. There is another film of the same name.
Name source
According to Qianlong's Guangzhou official records, in 1729, the governor Wang Shijun built a pavilion near the sun at Tianzi wharf to meet officials. When the officials left Guangzhou, they also invited Sheng'an at this pavilion, and then they got off the ship and set sail. At that time, the wharf was only used by officials, and civilian ships were not allowed to berth here. Because of its special status, it was called Tianzi wharf. Some people also think that: the ancients used "thousand character essay" as the order of number arrangement, which began with: "heaven and earth are mysterious and yellow..." That is to say, the first pier, the best and largest one. In a word, the wharf was built by a sailor.
Historical footprints
Tianzi wharf is an extraordinary Wharf on the East Bank of Guangzhou. It was designated as the official Wharf in the middle of the Qing Dynasty during the reign of Emperor Yongzheng of the Qing Dynasty (1723-1735). All officials who went to or left Guangzhou by waterway went up and down here. There is a reception Pavilion in front of the wharf, which is used to meet and send officials. It is the longest used Wharf in Guangzhou. Since the Ming Dynasty, Guangzhou has had docks built. Today, many ancient docks no longer exist, but the old docks more than 200 years ago still stand on the banks of the Pearl River. Secondly, the geographical location is moderate. Since the Tang and Song Dynasties, Guangzhou has been a foreign trade city. Especially in the Song Dynasty, ships from dozens of countries often came here for trade, and the trade was particularly prosperous. When ships first came, there were banquets for reading goods (that is, after the inspection of the goods, they held banquets for entertainment), and there were farewell banquets before leaving. This building was specially built for the purpose of entertainment, and it was used by foreign businessmen. And "Haishan Xiaoji" is one of the "eight sceneries of Yangcheng" in Song Dynasty, which is very close to Tianzi wharf. Chen qufei of the Song Dynasty wrote a poem
Ten thousand sails are like a heron, and one water is like void. This place is connected with vitality, and is dominated by Lou Guanxiong.
I'm from Zhongzhou, boarding xuanchongrong. The blue waves move the south pole, and the grey temples are always east wind. The road on earth is vast, and the sea is full of spring. Travel for two eyes, do not care for me bow.
The immortal wants my language, the dusk mountain verdant. There is no mirage in the clear sea, and Penglai palace is built there.
From Tianzi wharf to haishanlou, there are five sandbanks along the river. From Ming Dynasty to Qing Dynasty, scholar Chen Gongyin wrote the word "Taiping Yanhu" on the memorial archway there, which is today's Taiping sand. It has become a scene along the river. Many famous scholars have built many elegant villas here. They have also gathered Donggao poetry club here, and they have poems chanting it
Jieting is like Penglai, and languishen pepper is planted in the second place.
See the sword, see the dragon in the night, and the guest still comes.
The trees and branches are warm in spring, the warblers are skillful, the miasma and mirage are open.
Don't use the star to occupy the Taishi, the vertical and horizontal color pen has been Zhaohui.
From this, we can see that the area around Tianzi wharf was prosperous in humanities.
On March 10, 1839 (the 19th year of Daoguang), Lin Zexu arrived in Guangzhou to ban opium. He landed at Tianzi wharf. After the Opium War broke out, he was removed by the emperor and exiled to Yili. When he left Guangzhou, he also got off the ship here.
On the eve of the revolution of 1911, the Qing government sent Fengshan as a general stationed in Guangdong. Shortly after he landed at the Tianzi wharf, he was blown up by the revolutionaries' bombs on the roadside, ringing the death knell for the Qing government. In the Republic of China, a restaurant had a dish named "Fengshan into the city", which was "fried egg (bomb)". Sun Yat Sen, the father of the 1911 Revolution, was engaged in revolutionary activities. He went to Tianzi wharf many times, and finally fled to Hong Kong by boat. It can also be seen that Tianzi wharf is unusual, so its popularity is very high.

The area of Tianzi Wharf in Nanguan, outside Guangzhou, used to be a secluded place. After trading, it suddenly became a bustling and dusty place. On the wharf full of masts and sails, there are many Chinese and foreign places, where "Fanyu" is full of ears. Foreign sailors and businessmen with blond hair and blue eyes can be seen everywhere. There are also Chinese hawkers peddling foreign cigarettes and fruits. They yell, making it hard to tell whether it is Taixi or Zhongtu. Among them, the luoxiaoquan Chapel at the East Stone corner of Tianzi wharf is a very unique landscape.
The chapel, called "the eastern Guangdong shidip holy meeting", is a typical Gothic style building built about a mile outside the foreign commercial area. It has a high spire, a circular floating wall, and a heavy, solid cross. The chapel was built in July of the 25th year of Daoguang (1845). In just seven or eight years, it was destroyed by the monsoon and continuous plum rain in the south of the five ridges. The walls were heavily covered with moss and stained, like a passer-by in a strange and shabby costume standing in a daze. Occasionally, there will be a group of chickens wandering here, and single pigs or dogs like to chase for a while in the open field until someone interferes with them.
historical significance
"Tianzi wharf" is not only the name of a wharf, but also a complex. Kang Baocheng, a professor at Sun Yat sen University, believes that according to the definition, Tianzi wharf can not be regarded as intangible cultural heritage, which also prompts us to think about the limitation of only ten categories in the "intangible cultural heritage" Ordinance. "The extension of intangible cultural heritage should be broadened." Kang Baocheng said, "the collective memory reflected by Tianzi wharf is actually very important for the development of a city For the citizens, this kind of emotion is very precious. " Kang Baocheng said: "the regulations on intangible cultural heritage should be amended, and the extension should include this part, which is" collective memory "," collective complex "and so on."
