Ganiang township is located in the east of Yuanyang County, between 102 ° 51 ˊ - 102 ° 55 ˊ E and 23 ° 00 ˊ - 23 ° 10 ˊ n. It is adjacent to shangxincheng town in the East, laomeng township of Jinping County in the south, Xinjie town in the west, Nansha Town in the north, and Baohe Township and Jiasha township of Gejiu City across the "Red River". Ganiang township is located in the south of Yunnan Province, on the South Bank of the Red River, in the east of Yuanyang County, at the north foot of East Guanyin Mountain in the southern section of Ailao Mountains, between 102 ° 51 ′ e to 102 ° 55 ′ E and 23 ° 00 ′ n to 23 ° 10 ′ n.
