Located in the center of the low mountain tourist area, the first mountain Pavilion is one of the ten new scenic spots of Mount Emei and the starting point for tourists to walk into the mountain.

When visitors enter the "world famous mountain" memorial archway, the first thing they see is the magnificent "first mountain Pavilion", on which the three characters "first mountain" are shining. Pavilion 16.1 meters high, double eaves angle, exquisite structure, magnificent, resplendent. The four plaques of the pavilion are respectively inscribed with "the first mountain", "Emei Mountain", "Daguangming mountain" and "Huangren mountain", which represent the significant position of Emei Mountain in China's famous mountains, Buddhism and Taoism.

The first mountain Pavilion, located in the center of the low mountain tourist area, is 6.7 meters long and 14.05 meters high. It shows the rich and profound cultural heritage of Mount Emei, shows the grand momentum and broad mind of Mount Emei, is the epitome of ancient and modern culture of Mount Emei, is the largest copper Pavilion in China, and is also the starting point for tourists to walk into the mountain. It was built by Zhu Bingren, a master of Chinese arts and crafts, and also includes the main hall in Jinding of Mount Emei. It has become a large-scale copper building project all over the world.

Gems, lotus and pedestal. The gemstone is crystal, containing the bronze "World Heritage" and "National Scenic Area" logo. It is crystal clear and bright. The lotus and its base are all made of copper. The six lotus petals are carved with the famous old and new landscapes of Mount Emei, including ecological monkey, Puxian, Shuangqiao Qingyin, xiujiatianxia, jiulaoxianfu and Wannian temple. The base design takes the nature and culture of Emei Mountain as its content. In the convex part, seven personal stories are selected, including the first Buddha excavated by Hai Rui, the golden statue of Puxian given by Emperor Taizong of Song Dynasty, the naive emperor of Xuanyuan, Pugong chasing deer to show the real body, Baozhang Dianhua zaozu hall, Li Bai singing the moon of Emei, and Chu Kuang seeking the immortal trace. In the concave part, the natural resources of Emei Mountain are selected as its content, mainly including Alsophila spinulosa and Ling Monkey, Zhennan, etc. The whole symbol metaphorically means that the "star of the world" is endowed by nature and the people who have contributed to Mount Emei in the past dynasties. On the four sides of the pavilion column, there are eight famous landscape pictures of ecological monkey area, Xiangchi night moon, jiulaoxian mansion, Hongchun Xiaoyu, Jinding Xiangguang, Shuangqiao Qingyin, Baishui Qiufeng and yoga secluded place. "The first mountain Pavilion" gives a brief explanation of the traditional culture of Mt. Emei and a guide to the sightseeing of Mt. Emei. It has rich cultural content and profound implications, which makes people dizzying and full of thoughts.
