history
Taiqing palace has the longest history, the most far-reaching influence and the largest scale among many Taoist buildings in Laoshan. Laoshan Taiqing palace was first built in 140 BC. In 905 ad, with the efforts of several famous Taoists, it gradually had a certain scale. Since then, the number of buildings has been increasing. In the Yuan Dynasty, it became a Taoist temple of Quanzhen school, which was strongly supported by the imperial court, and its status rose rapidly. It was known as the second jungle after baiyun temple. In the Ming Dynasty, the famous Taoist Zhang Sanfeng once practiced here. Laoshan is also related to the great ancient Chinese novel Strange Tales from a lonely studio, from which many contents are drawn. It is said that Pu Songling, the author of the book, lived here.
Main attractions
In the courtyard of Taiqing palace, there are Ginkgo biloba, Lagerstroemia indica, peony, Nandong and other famous ancient trees and flowers, especially the white camellia and red Nandong on both sides of Sanguan hall
First name. On the east side is a winter resistant tree with red flowers. It is 8.5 meters high and 1.78 meters thick. The tree is more than 600 years old. It blooms from early November to mid June next year. It is still as red as fire, yellow as gold and green as green. It is a precious ancient tree in Laoshan. In Pu Songling's strange tales from Liaozhai, there is a novel entitled "fragrant jade", in which the flower god in red "jiangxue" refers to this tree. Now, the word "jiangxue" stands in front of the tree for viewing. On the west side of the front of the hall is a white camellia tree, which is over 400 years old. In every flowering season, it looks like silver and snow, and complements red Naidong. In front of the gate of Sanguandian mountain, there are two Ginkgo trees, more than 20 meters high, with vigorous branches and leaves, and a canopy of about one mu. On the east side of Sanguan hall, there are Chimonanthus praecox, Magnolia in early spring, lampstand in early summer, cinnamon in late autumn, and evergreen subtropical plants. It is a very elegant courtyard. To the west of Sanguan hall, beside the stone steps of Fengxian Bridge, there is a dragon like "Longtou elm". The tree is 18.2 meters high and 1.3 meters in diameter at breast height. It has been more than 1100 years old, ranking the top among the ancient elm trees in China. The cypress in the courtyard of Sanhuang hall is about 25 meters high and 5.25 meters in girth. There are two trees on the tree, one is Lingxiao and the other is Yanfu.
Around the Taiqing Palace are Qiu Chuji's cliffs, baidoutai, Lianhuan cave, qishidong, juxiantai and Kang Youwei's stone inscriptions. Wang Wuchan has a poem praising the scenery of Taiqing Palace: "the road turns around the lower palace, and the Qihua yaocao line up in the West and East. Bay ring ship berthing wumenbi, looming lights hanging Red Sea. The ancient trees bear the winter and pass on different ideas, while the immortal jiangxue does not. The famous minister's high dance is clearly in the Academy, and the style of Han Yuan still exists in the Academy. "
The night scene of Taiqing palace is particularly outstanding. When everything was quiet, a bright moon hung high on the sea, pouring soft and clear light. There was an excellent record in the book of traveling to Laoshan by Fu Zengxiang, a former chief of education in the late Qing Dynasty: "it's a day, it's a festival, and the moon is on the East peak, so we can enjoy the moon on the coast at the same time. In the bamboo forest at the beginning of the trip, the Golden Shadow is distributed on the ground, and the crystal light floats up. It is as strange as the cage of jade smoke. He ascended the slope and looked forward to it. The waves of the sea were blue, the sky was green, and the sky was clear up and down Every spring and autumn moon night, the breeze comes slowly, the sea does not raise waves, the bright moon is in the sky, the floating light is shining, and the bright moonlight spreads to the sea. This is the "Taiqing water moon" which is known as one of the twelve sceneries of Laoshan.
