Baling River Bridge in Guizhou is a long-span steel truss suspension bridge with the span of "the first in China and the sixth in the world". The bridge has five "firsts" in scale and five "firsts" in construction technology. Baling River Bridge

Balinghe bridge is a high-speed passage connecting the East and West banks in Anshun City, Guizhou Province, China. It is located on the Balinghe river. It is an important part of Shanghai Kunming expressway.

The construction of Baling River Bridge started on April 18, 2005;

The closure project of the main bridge was completed on May 18, 2009, and the whole bridge was connected;

It was put into operation on December 23, 2009.

Baling River Bridge starts from Guanling interchange in the west, crosses Baling River Waterway in the East and ends at National Highway 320 in the East. The total length of the line is 2237 meters, and the main bridge is 1088 meters long. The bridge deck is a two-way four lane Expressway with a design speed of 80 km / H.

Construction process

On April 18, 2005, the construction of Baling River Bridge started.

On April 18, 2006, Baling River Bridge completed the pouring of the bearing platform of the West pylon.

On August 30, 2007, Baling River Bridge was installed with pilot cables.

On March 29, 2009, the steel truss girder of Baling River Bridge was erected;

On May 18, the closure of the main bridge of Baling River Bridge was completed, and the whole bridge was connected;

On December 23, Baling River Bridge was put into operation.

Baling River Bridge is located in Guanling Buyi and Miao Autonomous County, Anshun City, Guizhou Province, China. It starts from Guanling interchange in the west, crosses Baling River Waterway in the East, and ends at the intersection of national highway 320 and Shanghai Kunming Expressway < I (National Expressway G60) < / I in the East. It passes through Shanghai Kunming Expressway < I (National Expressway G60) < / I.

Baling River Bridge is composed of main bridge, two pylons, cable, anchorage, approach bridge and Interchange Ramps; the main bridge section is arranged from southwest to northeast.

Design parameters

Baling River Bridge is 2237 meters long, with 1088 meters of main span, 940.4 meters of East bank approach and 200 meters of West Bank approach. The steel truss stiffening girder is 28.0m wide and 10.0m high, with a length of 10.8m between sections and a sling spacing of 10.8m; the thickness of the deck carriageway slab is 16mm, the thickness of the emergency parking strip slab is 14mm, and the thickness of the overhauling road deck slab is 8mm. The upper crossbeam of the cable tower is 10 meters high, 7.5 meters wide and 0.9 meters thick; the lower crossbeam is 10 meters high, 9 meters wide and 1.0 meters thick; the East Tower is 185.788 meters tall and the West Tower is 201.316 meters tall. The rise span ratio of main cable is 1:10.3, the transverse spacing is 28.0m, each cable strand contains 91 steel wires, the number of main cable strands in main span is 208 strands / cable, and the number of main cable strands in side span is 216 strands / cable; 198 lifting points are set in the whole bridge, and each lifting point has 2 slings. The length of the East anchorage section is 25 meters, 71 meters long, 45.5 meters wide and 71 meters high; the total axis length of the West anchorage tunnel is 74.34 meters, of which the front anchorage chamber is 31.34 meters long, the anchor plug body is 40 meters long and the rear anchorage chamber is 3 meters long; the section size of the single hole at the entrance is (10x10.8) meters, the section size of the single hole at the bottom is (21x25) meters, the minimum spacing between the left and right tunnels is 7 meters, the inclination of the tunnel anchor axis is 45 degrees, and the inclination of the bottom surface to the horizontal plane is 52 degrees Degree.

"2013 China · Anshun Baling River Bridge parachute International Invitational Competition"

On October 19, 2013, "2013 China · Anshun Baling River Bridge parachute International Invitational Competition" was held in Baling River Bridge. 34 world low altitude parachute jumpers from 15 countries including the United States, Canada, Germany, New Zealand, Britain, Spain, Belgium and Chile gathered in Anshun and competed in Baling River Bridge.

 

Bungee jumping

On October 1, 2019, the bungee jumping activity of Baling River Bridge was opened to the public. On January 12, 2019, the bungee jumping broke the Guinness bungee world record with a height of about 370 meters, which is the highest commercial bungee jumping facility in the world.

 

Baling River Bridge Science and Technology Museum

Baling River Bridge Science and Technology Museum is located in Baling River bridgehead park. The whole exhibition hall is divided into upper and lower floors, with a building area of 4220 square meters and a science and Technology Museum area of 3170 square meters. This view is to help people further understand the component model, construction technology, key innovative technology of Baling River Bridge, the distribution and history of bridges in Guizhou, and to have a comprehensive and multi-level experience of the first bridge in Guizhou A science and technology museum with the theme of bridge.

The completion of Baling River Bridge shortens the driving distance on both sides of the Strait from the original hour to four minutes, which not only greatly facilitates the people on both sides of the Strait, but also realizes the rapid connection between Guizhou and Yunnan expressways.
