Ming'ao township is located in the xiaonanxi River Basin, bordering Bilian and Kunyang in the East, Xixi in the South and xunzhai in the north. In the territory of mountains, emerald peaks, more than 500 meters above sea level, is a typical high mountain terrain in the south of the Yangtze River.

Ming'ao Township

Mingao township is located in the xiaonanxi River Basin, in the northwest of Yongjia County, with an altitude of more than 500 meters. The forest ecology is maintained well. Mingao township has 22 administrative villages with a population of 7526 (in 2017), a total land area of 42.5 square kilometers (in 2017), a cultivated area of more than 7800 mu, a paddy field area of more than 5100 mu, a dry land area of more than 2600 mu, and beautiful pastoral scenery. The per capita income of farmers has increased from 1714 yuan in 2000 to 2741 yuan in 2005. In 2007, there were more than 3000 mu of paddy fields and more than 2000 mu of fish farming in ming'ao township.

Infrastructure construction

Mingao Township comprehensively promotes the construction of rural Kangzhuang project, and has invested more than 6 million yuan. Land of Phoenix

Ming'ao, because the local terrain looks like a Phoenix, so it is called. Phoenix is the emperor of birds and the immortal of feathers. When a little-known mountain land has such a holy name, it inevitably makes people curious, mysterious and yearning. It's very quiet here. It's a luxury that you can't experience in the noisy city. In the evening, the quietness here is unique to ming'ao. Because it is a mountainous terrain, the mountains on all sides not only create a natural sound insulation screen, but also block the modern environment outside the mountain.

Inspired by the sunrise in the morning, when you climb up to the top of the mountain and overlook the whole village surrounded by layers of terraces, you will find that the land of Phoenix is indeed true. Because ming'ao is a mountainous area, there is not much arable land, so the local ancestors first set up the mountain to form the land, which ming'ao has lived on for generations. At the same time, they also gave birth to the Phoenix. The terraced fields on both sides of shan'ao outline outwards, which become the wings of the Phoenix. Mingao Township governs 22 administrative villages (Mingxia village, Minghou, Mingshang, Zhongcun, Zuodeng, Shengshan, Zhangdang, xiashikeng, shitiankeng, guangtanglong, Shengzhuang, ZHANGAO, longwai, xuzhai, majieshan, Waixu, Qiankou, Di'ao, ma'ao, Yanshan, Nanshan and Pingchuan). Zhangdang Village

Shitiankeng Village

Shitiankeng village is located in the north of ming'ao, with a population of more than 400 and a cultivated area of more than 300 mu. The village has beautiful environment and clean sanitation. It was rated as an ecological village in 2005. There are 2 fitness centers in the village, and cable TV and standard power grid have been installed in the village.

Xu'ao Village

It is located in shanwanli, 450 meters above sea level in the northwest of Mingao Township, with a population of more than 700 people and a cultivated land area of more than 500 mu. The Kangzhuang project highway has been opened to traffic, the roads in the village have been basically hardened, two flower beds have been built, and cable TV and Internet have entered the village.

Pingchuan Village

Pingchuan village is located in the southeast of ming'ao, with a population of 1017 and a per capita income of 4289
