Jiaozhou Museum

The Jiaozhou museum was built in April 1986. It is located at 113 Lanzhou East Road, Jiaozhou. The site is the only remaining ancient building Town God's Temple in Jiaozhou, covering an area of 3495.2 square meters and a building area of 1181.6 square meters.

Jiaozhou museum was founded on October 23, 1986. It is a local comprehensive museum and is now a national third-class Museum.

Historical evolution

As early as 1956, when the Jiaozhou special office was abolished, the cultural relics collected by the special district cultural management committee were transferred to the Jiaoxian Cultural Center for management. In 1973, the Jiaoxian cultural library set up a cultural relics room to carry out the cultural relics work of the whole county.

In July 1973, the cultural center was separated from the library, and the cultural relics room was taken over by the library.

On October 23, 1986, Qingdao Municipal People's government officially approved the establishment of Jiaozhou Museum.

In 1994, Jiaozhou museum was responsible for the construction and opening of Gao fenghan Memorial Hall. In 2014, Jiaozhou museum was responsible for the construction and opening of Daguhe Museum.

Gao fenghan Memorial Hall

Located in the hometown of Gao fenghan, South Sanlihe village, west section of Macao Road, Jiaozhou City, Shandong Province, Gao fenghan memorial hall is a special memorial hall for commemorating, researching and displaying Gao fenghan's life and artistic achievements. Opened to the outside world in 1994, the Museum covers a total area of 16 mu, with a construction area of 1960 square meters, including the former residence, temporary exhibition hall, Mausoleum and attached facilities. The museum is an antique building, with a layout changing step by step and a quiet and beautiful scenery.

Dagu River Museum

Dagu River Museum is located in the West Bank of Dagu River in Shaohai international provincial tourist resort of Jiaozhou City, with a total construction area of 21000 square meters, including Dagu River Museum, science and Technology Museum, cultural exchange Museum, Jiaozhou history exhibition hall and tourist service center. Among them, the main Museum of Dagu River Museum is divided into three parts. One is the "natural ecology exhibition hall", which mainly displays the natural appearance and typical ecology of Dagu River, historical flood and drought disasters and major events of governance and transformation, highlights the achievements of Dagu River governance, and looks forward to the development prospect of Dagu River governance. The exhibition hall of Jiaozhou history displays the cultural relics of Jiaozhou Museum, fully displaying the 5000 year history and characteristic culture of Jiaozhou. Daguhe museum is a comprehensive, symbolic and public welfare Museum. Collection

The collection of Jiaozhou museum is quite rich. After the construction of the museum, through the collection of cultural relics and the excavation of a large number of cultural relics, the collection of the museum has been increased. There are more than 1500 existing cultural relics, including 5 first-class and 15 second-class. Among the treasures in the collection are the ring-shaped animal shape gauge with peculiar shape and exquisite production unearthed from Sanlihe, Jiaozhou City, the black pottery cup with eggshell with fine workmanship and beautiful shape, and the volume of miaofe Lotus Sutra in Northern Song Dynasty. In addition, there are beautiful, simple and elegant bronzes of the Shang and Zhou dynasties, and the works of Gao fenghan, a calligrapher and painter of the Qing Dynasty.

The content is a seven character poem: "the silver candle is in the sky, the purple road is long, and the Forbidden City is in the spring. A thousand weak willows and a hundred wandering warblers make up a chapter. The sound of sword ring follows the steps of Yulong, and the clothes and body provoke the incense of imperial stove. They all bathed in the wind pool of Enbo, and served the king in the imperial court. " At the bottom of the left, there is a self titled "Zhou Tianqiu", followed by two seals, one is "Liuzhi Jushi", the other is "Zhou Gongxia".

The jade Bi is flat and cyan in color. The outline part is located on both sides of the Bi, which are two groups of hollowed out Double Dragons. The jade Bi is divided into three parts. The inner and outer parts are jade rings. In the middle of the jade Bi are eight cross winding dragon heads and tails. Four of them are decorated with scales. The other four are decorated with Yang lines. The head and eyes of the dragon are convex. The interior and exterior areas are decorated with cirrus. The ornamentation on both sides of the jade is the same.
