There are 27 small pagodas around, all of which are the tombs of monks. This place is called "pagoda courtyard". Some people gradually moved into this area and settled into a village, which was named Tayuan village and Qianfo temple, also known as "Tayuan village temple".

After 1990s, Mudanyuan residential district was built in the East.
The southern part of the pagoda garden and the South Bank of the Xiaoyue River are the sites of the northern Tucheng of the Yuan Dynasty. In 1985, the garden department renovated the park and built an open park. In 2003, the park was transformed into the site park of the Yuan Dynasty.
